Lykke Corp. was founded in 2013 by Richard Olsen, a pioneer in high-frequency trading and the founder of OANDA. Richard is a researcher and serial entrepreneur, whose mission has always been addressing inefficiencies of the financial market. The Lykke Wallet cryptocurrency trading platform is designed as a global blockchain powered marketplace for any digitized asset that would offer a level play field for any kind of traders. Users have the same equal trading conditions independently from the amount and frequency of trading, which truly democratizes the financial market.

Lykke's vision is based on the idea that blockchain technology is disrupting financial markets eliminating inefficiencies. However, the financial and economic law do not get refuted, hence the traditional financial system simply gets transformed by the emergent technologies. This is why regulation is important. Most cryptocurrencies sooner or later will be recognized securities. Therefore Lykke is pursuing regulatory approvals to be able to fully tokenize any kind of securities and allow for their trading on the blockchain.

Driven by research and financial engineering, Lykke Corp. not only runs a commission-free cryptoexchange, but also successfully manages B2B blockchain related projects. Lykke develops, whitelabels and sells blockchain solutions for corporate clients, such as banks, exchanges, B2P companies that require blockchain based client reward solutions.
