The pricing at Vexxhost would be OK if the offered services would work, which is not the case.
I had multiple bad customer service experiences with this provider but the last straw was when they yet again migrated to a new web interface and their DNS service stopped working: I could not create new DNS entries.
After 8 days of back and forth with my ticket (!), where 4 of those days they just did not reply because they were at a convention (!), they kept insisting that I use the OpenStack CLI to create the DNS entries.
1. Asking your customer to use a bogus CLI with zero documentation in their knowledge base is ludicrous. I had to scavenge the web to find their authentication url.
2. The CLI is bogus and the DNS entries cannot be created through it. I'm not stupid, I know how to use those tools. The CLI is broken. Their DNS service is broken.
Vexxhost will answer you quickly to signup with them.
Don't be fooled, you won't receive any service after that because they really are only two technicians in this family ran business.
I'm not kidding, they advertise themselves has a reliable big company but they really are 2 brothers in a basement.
