Though I don't fully understand the undelying technicalities behind it, Asphostportal has an hosting environment that works well with the assortment of needs Asp.net relies on. The databases, Asp.net software and other backend hosting components are mostly all in top form. The control panel is simple to use and provide me with management flexibility. I have had to switch providers twice in last year because of excessive downtime. I've been on Asphostportal for 5 months without a single outage plus my website is noticeably faster. I like their control panel which allow me to install free SSL certificate than waiting for a technician to do it. You can find cheaper hosting providers but expect lower service as well.
