Review Summary
Generated using AI from real user reviews
Display Systems makes closing disclosure software that feels genuinely usable from day one, especially for organizations handling RESPA compliance as a core function. The guided setup and interface successfully demystify HUD-1 field mapping without requiring extensive training, and users can generate accurate disclosures within days rather than weeks. Support responses are prompt and specific rather than generic, which matters when compliance is non-negotiable.
The main weakness is that onboarding documentation lags behind the current product interface, with outdated screenshots and guides that haven't been refreshed in years. This creates unnecessary friction early on, even though the software itself is intuitive. For buyers in down-payment assistance or similar compliance-heavy roles, the core product delivers on usability and accuracy, but you may want to budget time for self-discovery once written guides become unhelpful.

“Nobody told me closing disclosure software could feel approachable on…”
Nobody told me closing disclosure software could feel approachable on day one. That was my honest reaction when I logged into Display Systems for the first time. Our organization assists low-income homebuyers through a down-payment assistance program, so RESPA compliance and accurate CD generation aren't optional niceties, they're central to everything we do. I came in skeptical, expecting a steep learning curve the way most compliance tools seem to demand.
The first week surprised me. The guided setup walked me through HUD-1 field mapping in a way that actually connected to the CFPB guidelines I already knew. I didn't feel like I was decoding a manual written for a different audience. By day three, I'd generated two test disclosures without calling support once. That's not something I expected to say so soon. When I did reach out with a question about populating lender credits correctly, the response was prompt and specific, not a link to a FAQ article.
My one gripe is the onboarding documentation itself. The written guides feel like they were last updated a couple of years ago, and a few screenshots don't match the current interface. It's a minor friction point, but when you're new and trying to confirm you're clicking the right thing, outdated visuals slow you down. That said, the core functionality is solid for what our program needs, and the compliance scaffolding is clearly built with care. Less than three months in, I'm feeling confident rather than nervous about our next actual closing file, which is the real test.
