Encoras patent pending technology combines app based software, smart collection bins, enhanced RFID/QR code technology, robotics, NSF and BPA free reusable containers and commercial dishwashing for food service operations in closed loop environments. PROBLEM We create 264 million tons of trash (80.1 single use food/bev containers) of which only about 14 gets recycled. This creates an endless loop for of expensive waste management and disposal options in places like airports, colleges, business campuses, hospitals and military bases. ENCORAS SOLUTION Encora provides free access to its software, web app or enter into a deposit model to keep waste of the waste stream and therefore, out of the environment. Step 1 Order food at an airport concession, campus cafeteria or downtown vendor and check out your food/bev container using the mobile app. Step 2 When done the app will navigate you toward the nearest smart collection drop station. When you approach the robotic doors recogize the presence of the container and the apropriate door opens for easy deposit. Once inside your container is automatically checked back in and comces off your account. Oh, did I mention you receive reward points for using Encora and making a more sustainable choice that is both easy and impactful? STEP 3 Encora collects then collects the containers where they are commecrially washed using stringent safety and health guidelines.
