Spoke to Harshal today about DNS zones, I accidentally set to something wrong and was worried that I broke the site. Harshal helped me check if I fixed the issue correctly. Response time via live chat was good.

Terrible experience, slow server, a lot of down times, high Waiting (TTFB), a lot of Connection timed out, and I was pre paid for 3 yr and Host4Geeks can't guarantee the satisfaction of customers et no refund is possible.

I can honestly say that I have not encountered a worse reseller host EVER in the 15 years that I have been working as a reseller. The list of things that went wrong is a long one but the two that stand out as the worst is the fact that they take several hours to reply to tickets, being in India and despite assurances of 24/7 service were just not apparent. They also overcharged me and refused to refund me, threatening me with a $150 charge for reporting them to PayPal for not doing so! All in all they cost me 3 clients and I racked up more charges in trying to get backups of my site (NOTE they are not included, a little sneaky touch). It was a costly exercise but fortunately my new host at Krystal is more than making up for it with the best service and support I've ever had.

I was getting tied of the deteriorating quality of my large, nationally-known ISP, so I started looking for an alternative. I found host4geeks, and I'm thrilled. The very best thing is smart humans whom you can actually talk to. So when I wanted to make sure I had https:, the answer was a quick live chat away. Also, for some reason, their cPanel and its tools run and load much faster. This means it's not a horrible chore to check, for example, whether the data in the public-facing MySQL instance really is the same as the local one I'm using for debugging: I can go into MySQL Administrator and just look -- and not waste minutes just getting into the system.

When I have a glitch or problem maintaining my main domain, two add-ons and six sub-domains, I usually try to figure it out by myself. But when I can't I just get in tough with Host4Geeks support and they are always GREAT. If it's a problem that stumps me, it often stumps them too and they don't quit until we get to the bottom of it. Staff is always friendly, easy to talk to, and of course very knowledgeable. And it's not just strictly business- staff are personable and lighten the mood. Great service and I've never had a problem that I was not able to solve in nearly five years of service.

One thing I love about Host4geeks is their outstanding customer support. Their live chat is still one of the best I've ever used. They typically respond almost immediately, even at midnights. Apart from that, their pricing is way too cheap to be believable. Host4geeks is surely the best hosting I have ever used.

I signed up for a reseller web hosting plan with Host4Geeks about a year ago. Things initially seemed good, but quickly soured after a botched migration (at 30 minutes' notice) which left scripts broken and websites offline. Their support is also atrocious.

As time went on, I grew increasingly frustrated with the service until one day I woke up to a support ticket saying that phishing malware had mysteriously appeared on one of my 24 Cpanels. Guess what? The company immediately terminated the entire account — at seven days' notice!

This was a Wordpress installation that was properly maintained and updated and no logs were shared — so I have grave questions as to how the company could justify summarily discontinuing the account on this basis alone.

Unfortunately the nightmare wasn't over yet.

The company promised a pro rata refund which (at the time of writing) I still have not yet received. More concerning, I could not edit or remove my credit card from their UI (nor automatically cancel my service - another red flag). Countless users have reported being billed AFTER cancellation so this was an immediate concern.

I received contradictory messages from their support staff both by ticket and on a popular web hosting forum. Then, my account was summarily cancelled.

I have written a detailed blog outlining my experience under my name and ask people to read it — and the WebHostingTalk threads linked — before even considering handing over your credit card information to this company.

I had no idea that reseller hosting was generally a lot more expensive than shared. If I had, I would have realized that this deal is far too good to be true.

Host4Geeks do not hesitate to engage in lies and deception to attempt to get their customers to shut up. Thankfully, plenty have already disclosed their experiences and I am happy to share mine.

Buyer beware!

Host4Geeks has one of the fastest response times on support tickets and since I run my production application on their servers this is of utmost importance to me.

The most important point at the time is to have the issue resolved to have my services back online. Therefore the support from hosting provider comes into play and the Host4Geeks team has not let me down, their support team via the support ticket are very fast and responsible to respond to my needs.

On the hosting server plans, I have done my research and try so many hosting providers. I still feel that Host4Geeks provides the requirement that I needed even though they may not be the cheapest as the hosting provider but their support team is one of the best.

I had migrated my site to Host4geeks a week back.
My site had not been optimised -- It had a size of 3mb for home page and had very bad gtmetrix scores.
This was the case since last 2 years and the site still loaded under 6 seconds.
I had tried siteground and milesweb and was satisfied with them.
Host4geeks offered a better plan on paper so I went ahead and migrated. They copied the code from milesweb server.

The site now loaded in 29 seconds as compared to 6 seconds. Host4geeks blamed bad optimisation..
Their tech support is useless and beats around the bush.
I had shown them the gtmetrix of old comparable plan on another host but they still gave the same excuse of non optimisation.

What their tech support could not give an answer for was-
If a site is loading fine on another server and the code is copied from that server onto Host4geeks -- then why is it 5 times slow.

I then upgraded my basic plan to their wordpress plan but still the same loading time-- even though their resources were 2 times more than their old plan and even better than siteground and milesweb.
They are a bunch of cheats and did not actually upgrade my plan- they just inflated the invoice to show that my plan was changed.

I had a long ticket with them and their were very laid back in answering-- sometimes taking 15 hours to reply.

It is shameless that they cheat so much. In the end after harassing for 5 days they refused to give money back.

I have worked with a number of different hosts over the years, from Bluehost to Hostgator and now Host4Geeks. One thing I have learned while jumping from host to host, is that the bigger name hosts often provide an inferior servi ce, especially on the support end of things.

I came across Host4Geeks late in 2017 and the transition from Hostgator was a breeze. They were able to migrate my entire site and cpanel from Hostgator, which was a huge plus. Definitely saved me the hassle of moving all my emails, files, etc.

Since I have been with H4G, I have only had to open one or two tickets and they were always responded to within an hour. Their staff is very polite and do not treat you like you are just another customer.

Their uptime is amazing. Since I have been with them, I can't think of a time my site was offline or slow. I have never setup any monitoring for my website, but as I check and work on my site daily, it always fast and responsive.

Very happy customer here!!!

I signed up with this company recently a few months ago, after migrating from Milesweb. My experience with this company has been so far, excellent. They care for their customers and support is very helpful, available when ever I needed them.
Servers are pretty fast and have not faced any downtime since my website has been with these guys. This company definitely needs a 5 star recommendation, which I am happy to give

I'm seriously impressed by Host4geeks. I have their VPS 3 plan. Their pricing is on par with other hosts out there but their uptime is the impressive part. I literally question the monitoring service when I get an alert because it's usually one ping that failed and when I go to my site(s) on my phone they work.

All websites technical problems have always been resolved within minutes, and i was always updated whilst they resolve them.

I am mind blow with those guys. I own a large web site that is dedicated to web design and we get around of 1K views daily and we are growing daily. There servers seem to not even care about traffic lol.

Even if i get 2.5k views a day the server seem to not even have any issues with that. There support is quick (10 minutes to reply) They have special agent that help if the regular support can fix and that takes less than an hour. They are really welcoming and are making you feel like you are part of a better family.

The prices might seem high by a bit, but with the coupons they give you it just a good investment. I thought about joining them for a couple of months now and i'm glad i did, should have joined earlier. You guys are awesome, keep it up.

Atleast 50-70% increase in website speed and 200% better customer support with queries solved within a few minutes to an hour or two. Started using Host4Geeks a while ago and no longer needed hosting. Just got back in again with their reseller package. Excellent customer service, prompt replies to tickets, and staff will help you out on pretty much all subjects, even if it's out of their "job description". Very fast servers, instant setup and even comes with a free SSL certificate and a WHMCS license. Excellent value for money and I have nothing to fault them on!

Host4Geeks have been brilliant since I started using them. I host two of my personal websites on there and have recommended them to various other people. Although I can't comment on the technical side of things (I don't know anything about that kind of stuff, which is why H$G is perfect for me, I don't need to know!) the sites have never been down, slow or in any other way not working. The customer service is second to none, any problems with anything and I will usually get a reply and solution with an hour!

Host4Geeks is a fantastic web hosting provider. Their support is second to none. I left Hostgator because of their lack of support, 5 to 10 days to get a response. Host4geeks I always get a response within a hour. They will bend over backwards to support me. Glad I made the switch and I've never looked back at Hostgator again.
