Leest is a New York-based hotel technology company providing cloud-based solutions for increasing direct bookings. Number one pain in the industry being distribution costs; majority of online hotel bookings come from OTAs, resulting in more than 30B missed revenue in paid commissions every year. While more than 80 of online bookings come from third party sites, over half of online visitors still check hotel websites. However due to lack of digital tools to aid them in their decision-making, these visits result in abandonment to third-party websites. Our platform is being used at two of worlds top hotel chains, Starwood and IHG, as well as select independent lifestyle properties. Hospitality industry is going to be transformed by technology in the next 5 years and hotels are looking to differentiate themselves meaningfully by understanding and going beyond the expectations of todays value-seeking travelers while optimizing profits.
