“Good support is usually the thing you notice only when…”
Good support is usually the thing you notice only when it's gone. Six months in with Liiv, I keep noticing it because it's still there every single time. When my department first stood up Freeport to handle permit workflows and HUD form documentation, I had a long list of configuration questions and a tight deadline. I submitted a ticket on a Thursday afternoon expecting a response the following week. Someone from their team called me that same evening. Not a canned email, not a chatbot handoff. An actual person who had clearly read what I sent.
That set the tone for everything after. The onboarding check-ins were scheduled but never felt like box-checking exercises. When we hit a snag with the drag-and-drop form builder pulling in some legacy field data incorrectly, their support team looped in a technical specialist within two hours and walked my coordinator through the fix while I was in a budget meeting. Small thing in isolation. Huge thing when you're trying to get your department director comfortable with a new system. My coordinator, who was skeptical at the start, told me afterward that she'd never felt less alone in a software rollout.
The product itself does what it promises. Real-time workflow analytics have made my weekly reporting faster, and the auto-documentation on permits has cut the back-and-forth with applicants noticeably. But honestly, the support quality is what I'd lead with if someone in a neighboring department asked me about this. If you want a vendor that treats your questions like they matter after the contract is signed, Liiv has been that for my team consistently.
