Thursday, September 13, 2018 #61973 Paige Prophix can easily integrate data from disparate systems to create more meaningful analysis and reports. Each data set alone only tells part of the story. Powerful insights can be gained when combining the data. We've also become much more efficient in month end close, reporting and ad hoc analysis by moving from Excel to Prophix. Prophix being privately held does lend to a better long term focus vs the sub optimized view that many private equity companies take on their portfolio. As a rule of thumb Prophix has been responsive in addressing issues within their SLA. The one incident that where this did break down, Prophix took ownership once the issue was highlighted; Prophix spent time with us to understand how we wanted to move forward and showed a real commitment towards taking corrective action. Thursday, September 13, 2018 #61975 William Van Hulzen Prophix is being used for our financial reporting, planning/forecasting and hopefully on down the road for dashboards, detail sales reporting, etc. The finance department is the main user of prophix, however, line departments are asked to input plan and forecast data for review and consolidation. Prophix allows us to maintain current and historical data that was previously being handled by excel spreadsheets. Monthly consolidation of multiple entities, planning and forecasting are now done more quickly with detail and commentary that can be made part of the record. Did you find this review helpful?

This includes all aspects of the financial reporting and management; budgeting, forecasting and performance management. In addition, we rely on Prophix as a substitiution tool for general ledger journal entries to allocate revenues and expenses throughout our oragizational divisional and departmental structure.
