What do you like best?
Recurly has best features in the industry, some of which we use are as below:

1. Recurly offers top notch professional services for migration into Recurly.

2. Lots of documentation around API integration.

3. Ability to interface with lots of payment gateways.

4. Credit card updater service.

5. Simple and easy to use API.

6. Excellent support.

What do you dislike?
There are some points where Recurly can improve, some of which are as below:

1. Improve data export analytics. Some data exports do not include required columns. I've raised this with support, but have seen no changes since last 6 months.

2. Professional services are expensive.

3. Some features are difficult to build around Recurly, for example bill per seat feature for subscriptions.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best?
Easy to configure several payment gateways. They were pioneers in automating recurring payment management. The invoices site is a good resource for delegating all security concerns. They have excellent taxes management according to several market regulations.

What do you dislike?
Bad developer experience, we have been using an old fashion XML API for a long time. It is difficult to test things. Some use cases like instant payments are difficult to implement. We have to rely on other products to get good MRR insights.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recurly allows us to delegate all the automation required for offering recurring payment management. They also have a site that allows us to delegate all security concerns related to processing payment information and also for invoicing management. The possibility to use several currencies and automatically calculate taxes depending on the market saves us a lot of development time.

What do you like best?
Being able to break down based on subscription as well as payments. Having a database where everything is clean and easy to navigate is essential to my business, and with over 2,000 subscribers, it can be easy to lose track... not with Recurly, though. :)

What do you dislike?
My biggest issue with Recurly is how they set up their reports. From time to time, when I try to download a report, it will eliminate critical information that I'm looking at but can't get once it's downloaded. If the report offered a way to include ALL data stored, that would be awesome.
