What is Reliable Hosting?

Strongvpn.com / Reliablehosting.com started as a small company in South Lake Tahoe in 1994 selling PC computers. We began offering Internet Services for the local area we were in via our website California.net and soon after that we offered Dedicated Servers and colocation services. We moved from various colocation facilities in Northern California until we settled at 200 Paul ExchangeColo now run by Digital Realty Trust. This facility offered us a ideal location for peering and growth ability. Since then we have been able to steadily grow our customer base by understanding one fundamental rule in regards to business. You can't grow a any business on product and price advantage alone, a strong customer service culture is also critical.

Review Summary

Generated using AI from real user reviews

Reliable Hosting is overwhelmingly praised across all 28 reviews, with 26 five-star and 2 four-star ratings reflecting genuine user satisfaction rather than a service with meaningful trade-offs.

Users consistently highlight three concrete strengths: reliability and uptime, affordable pricing, and responsive customer support. Many reviewers emphasize that the company lives up to its name, delivering stable service without the frequent outages they experienced elsewhere. Support staff are regularly commended for being accessible, friendly, and able to explain technical issues in plain language—a particular win for non-technical users. The combination of low cost with high performance is noted repeatedly as rare; past hosting experiences allegedly forced users to choose between reliability, speed, or affordability, whereas Reliable Hosting delivers all three.

The 24/7 support availability is mentioned across multiple reviews as a key differentiator. A few users note the service has been valuable for small business and personal use, reducing infrastructure burden and eliminating the need for in-house IT management.

No substantive criticisms appear across the review set. The only slight variance is two reviewers rating the service 4 instead of 5 stars, though both still call it excellent and recommend it highly. This uniformity itself is notable—either the service performs very consistently, or the review set skews toward satisfied long-term customers.
