The ideas behind Rushfiles are great. It is fast and resucure. The looks and the feels are like a local fileserver, and most users won't see the direfence. The speed with local caching of data for the user makes it even more interesting to use.

It is often offline (or you can't reach your files) and the support bod 'Freddie' isn't able to do any thing...

Only big problems with this cloud/ software. I lost a lot of files because of rushfiles problems and bad app software.
Don't never use it!
And the company and support is never responsible for anything.

For mortal users impossible to use. Official Rushfiles instruction video's show screens and functionality that will never show on your screen.

This is a classic example of a from Technicians-Perspective-only written service.

SUMMARY:
Difficult/impossible to use. Extremely poor support.

It could well be that the functionality provided by this tool is actually good. But the explanations of how to use it are so poorly written (and even contradictory) that I was never able to set it up to do what I want (which also involves files being available offline).

I provided some feedback on what I found hard to understand in the online help articles. Rushfiles support responded after a few days saying that these issues had been resolved. But when I checked the articles, they had not been updated in any way (as could also be seen from the date stamps on them). If the support team consider that doing NOTHING could be a way of resolving such an issue, then I conclude that they cannot be considered as serious professionals.

I also submitted some more technical support questions about how the app on my Mac appeared not to behave the way the help files indicated. But I received no help on that at all.

I should add that I am an experienced computer professional with many years experience in using complex tools.

Our experience overall has been great. We understand that not everything is perfect when dealing with start-up products (features, bugs), but the control we have over our data, paired with reliability of the product, makes this a product for the future. This is a service any serious company should incorporate, and RushFiles will be one of the best providers, if not already. Highly recommendable.

Been using the RushFiles product since September, where our IT advisor recommended it for our small company. The offline work mode, with auto sync, is truly amazing, and the fact that we have complete control of our data (including knowing where it is physically stored) means the world, with all the data loss/theft happening these days.

The bad reviews are not representative of the product's capabilities nor it's performance, at least not from our point of view . I would personally recommend RushFiles to anyone that cares about secure file sharing.

Sorry. Doesn't work properly. Did not back up my camera. And copied other files over and over again.
I'm going back to Dropbox.
My fault? Maybe - but the menus are not easy.

It only syncs local folders with the cloud that reside on a Mac virtual disc share. Without any notice you can lose all your data on it, as I did. No help desk is going to help you to get your data back. Instead of securing your data, its makes it lost. Thus Rushfiles is a very unsafe tool, to place your data on.
