SolaDrive was created in November of 2009 providing Managed VPS and Managed Dedicated Servers for small to medium-sized enterprises. Having experienced poor quality hosting first hand, SolaDrive was founded by dedicated hosting enthusiasts with decades of experience with a goal to bring high quality managed vps and dedicated services to the market at affordable prices. John of SD is very friendly and supportive. It's really nice when you know other are sincerely concerned about your business and that's what makes me love SD. A bit of mixed feelings here, hence the removal of one star. Soladrive, as I've come to realize will do everything in their power to keep you a customer. They go over their way to make you happy and attend to your needs quickly, which I found applauding and the reason why I'm still using them. However, their pricing is a bit on the high side (IMO). They're lots of hosting company that gladly provide similar service at a much lower cost say 10-15% off what SD would charge you, which is a big deal if you own multiple servers. If you ain't on a tight budget, I'd recommend SD. Their server speed is super fast and quite reliable as I haven't experience a downtime so far. However, if you're strapped for cash, you're better off using other hosts.

They are far better options in the market as far as price is considered. The only reason why I'm still using SolaDrive is because of their superb support and U.S fast reliable servers. I'm a curious kind of person, and I love the fact that if anything goes wrong during my experimenting, all it takes is for me to send SD a support ticket and GBAM, the issue is solved. The fact that they don't reply me in a condescending tone but treat me as if I'm their most paying client whenever I run to them for help makes me feel I finally found a hosting partner that's suited for me. When the price is right, I will give SD 5 stars! but for now, 4 is enough.

Been at it for hours and when I couldn't take it any,ore, I decided to submit a support ticket which was replied within an hour. Wow. There was a time Hostgator was my best buddy as far hosting my websites was concerned. Not anymore as all I keep experiencing now is constant outages, less services, and longer response times. I'm now with SolaDrive and they've been a blessing so far. I only hope they don't turn the same way Hostgator did when they have a large customer base. For now, I'm okay with them. They Rock
