Server is down most of the time. We are in the middle of close and our Servers are down. Definitely looking into switching. Unfortunately due to multiple outages Summit Hosting is not worth our company's time and money.

I'd give Summit zero stars if possible. The 5 star reviews on here are bogus. There's no way the posters are legitimate. Summit is down way more often than they are up. No way to reach a human. The servers are down again and have been down for more than 19 hours.

Holy Shit. I know you guys are merged, and then you switched from Citrix (stable platform that was backed up in more than one fracking location) to Microsoft remote desktop (unstable and NOT backed up). And I've tried being patient, but that is over. You guys are down on a regular basis and I walk into our clinic every day never knowing if we have our service or not. Wow. This post is going everywhere I can put it. I really think that other potential customers need to know what the heck is going on with your company. Am I pissed at this point in time? Yes. I am out of patience.

we just had to write a review about this company. I would highly recommend to anyone. They seem to use the latest technology although they have had a few issues lately they have seem to have fixed them.

Summit hosting has been fantastic. Hosting with them has been a breeze and allows me to focus on acquiring and maintain my clients instead of any platform errors I dealt with while using my last provider

Rarely have had an unpleasant experience with Summit. Their support is second to none in my experience with hosting companies. Service has been fast and reliable and my data has been secure in the 2 years we've been with them

We have been hosting with Summit for many years. We run our entire business on there platform. We love the support and dedicated servers.

We had another hosting company that used a shared sever with others it was really bad.

Summit is down again today. This after three days of outage in January. They host a accounting and overall operations software for churches. I know, we are not losing business, but I'm an unpaid treasurer and I need reliable access to my program to do my job, and my time is limited. This is just plain gross incompetence. Stay away!

In the last 6 months, the Summit servers have been down 3 times. In January, they were down for 2 days, and we were not able to perform any accounting functions. When you call, there are no human beings. Only voice mail. They did not respond to our being without our Sage accounting system for 2 days. Their behavior is outrageous.

I switched our company after being down for days earlier in January. I could not take any more chances with Summit. Looks like it is a good thing that I did. From the reviews, it looks like there have more interruptions of service. Completely unaccepable! Do not use them.

same story here, we were out of business for 3 days and nobody gives a
S _ _ _ at Summit. They won't even call back to confirm cancellation of account. Thankfully, I was able to dowload a copy of our backup myself before switching to another company.
since Wednesday, it's been a dream running on their competitor.

OK, I give up. Initially I didn't want any more one star reviews because I thought Summit might stay alive while we transfer our business to reliable service providers (first one out wins)

Summit is lying about their crash that started Saturday, Jan 18. Their message to customers (finally sent today) reveals that they have suffered a ransomware attack. In their email they state "At this time, it is very important to note that backups are secure and data was not compromised."

I have demanded access to backup data in order for us to transfer to another host. After receiving the email message claiming that our data was secure, they told me on the phone that they cannot guarantee the safety of our backup data and, even if they could, they don't have the resources to connect us with our data.

They are over their heads and cannot be trusted. Our company has not shipped since last Friday (3 business days), I have a new server ready to accept our Sage data files but Summit refuses access to their backup data.

Think about it. We trusted Summit with our business software including reliable backup. Not only have they failed to maintain our daily operations, but their backup process also failed. Our company's future is in jeopardy due to their gross negligence and incompetence.

Funny to see that the "owner" religiously replies to all Google posts.

Here's my challenge to the "owner" - waiting to hear from you........... Please, no BS about how hard everyone is working to restore our servers. I only want to know how I can access our data - no need to pretend we might have a future together.

If you are having the same terrible experience with Summit, please comment on this post. Tomorrow we will be taking legal action against Summit if they fail to provide access to our backup data. We will be happy to include additional plaintiffs against the company
