Review Summary
Generated using AI from real user reviews
The Blue Book Network is overwhelmingly seen as a poor value and potential scam, with one isolated five-star exception amid fifteen one-star reviews.
The sole positive review credits the service with a major $420,000 contract win and praises a specific representative for professionalism and knowledge. That reviewer felt the platform was worth the investment for accessing commercial projects.
The remaining fifteen reviewers describe a consistent pattern of broken promises and poor execution. Users report paying hundreds to thousands of dollars monthly with zero or near-zero return on investment, receiving mostly untargeted emails from other contractors rather than genuine job leads. A recurring complaint is aggressive sales tactics and deceptive contracts—representatives allegedly lock customers into two-year agreements (sometimes slipped in without clear disclosure), contact them for renewal months before expiry, and refuse early cancellation or buyouts even when the service yields nothing. Customers also cite unresponsive management, cancelled in-person networking events, and leads poorly matched to their trades. Several note that smaller companies are especially vulnerable and that the service offers minimal value for the cost. The volume and consistency of negative feedback suggests systemic problems, though the single positive review hints that results may depend heavily on industry type, geography, or assigned representative.

“Blue Book Network is the most useless platform for product…”
Blue Book Network is the most useless platform for product services I ever signed up for. They lure you in by showing how many GCs specify your product in their projects, they make enticing promises, create a beautiful profile. In reality, all it is the monthly ZOOM meetings where 2-3 GCs talk about their projects and 150 potential subs have 30 sec each to introduce ourselves. Then, you start receiving a bunch of very untargeted emails from hopeful deceived small businesses hoping to recover some of their money.. The service costs us $906 /month for "access" to only East Cost and Florida projects. We paid to Blue Book Network already $2700 with ZERO ROI and ZERO connections. When you try to call the project key person listed in the platform, it is either unreachable, or they do not care if it is a cold call, to you introduce yourself as a Blue Book Network member. The platform does not provide any relationship culture or respect from pier members. BE AWARE. Maybe somebody got some use of this platform before 2020, not now. They rob you out of your money. The min subscription is 12 months. then the threat for collection. Just like that. No one respected organization, which provides value to the customers would do it.

Professional Company, I don't recommend joining Blue Book Building and construction platform. Number 1 to expensive, Number 2, joining companies some are very rude, wast your Time. Management, doesn't return calls, or email actually reach out to the corporation . Sincerely, Tri-South Cleaning Tammy Cole CEO

No Return on Investment! Rep totally overstated what his company could do for ours. No cancellation policy on a 2 year contract. We got a $350 job on $2080(so far) in advertising.

“In my experience, this company is fraudulant at worse and…”
In my experience, this company is fraudulant at worse and both crooked and desceptive at best. It seems they train their field sales people to say whatever it takes to make a sale, including misrepresenting their product, making assertions about what we will receive that are completely unsubstantiated, and forcing everyone into a 24 month contract (which I've later learned is not required because everything is negotiable, but the 24 month generates the largest sales commissions). Then when you go to cancel, because the service is useless for your industry despite your best intentions of making it work, they cancel the service, but then still make you pay the entire remaining balance of your 2-year contract in a lump sum. Total bogus. I've asked my financial institution to block any and all charges from this company. Please be weary of their desceptive sales tactics. Note: This service may be worthwhile for larger companies that have a bidding department, although I haven't read any good reviews for this either, but if you're smaller than 10 people, this is a TOTAL waste of your time and money. Further, if you're in the mold industry, tell them to take a hike. None of the GCs in their network post any mold remediation opportunities. We were sold on over 100 bid opportunities/month in the San Diego area. We've had 5 bid opportunities so far, and 0 have had anything to do with mold.

“Be extremely carful when you review your contract. Our salesman…”
Be extremely carful when you review your contract. Our salesman Russell, sneaked in a 2 year contract instead of a 1 year. Not a good ROI. You can do the same thing for free. Totally slimy!!!

“"We had no idea how successful our experience would be…”
"We had no idea how successful our experience would be after signing up with Julie Combo and the Blue Book Network. We had only been on for a little over a month, a commercial bid that came directly from the blue Book Network and with some help from Julie, we were able to put together the right number and win the bid at $420,000.00. We do believe that we would not have the opportunity to swing at these projects if it weren’t for advertising in The Blue Book. Furthermore, working with Julie Colombo has made all the difference, she is informative, professional and highly knowledgeable. Thanks Julie and the Blue Book Network for allowing us to solidify our presence in our commercial market space, keep up the great work! I would recommend the Blue Book Network to anyone looking to seriously grow their business." Legacy Contractors Raymond Fowler
