I've been with ZebraHost for nearly a decade. I was introduced to ZebraHost as the recommended hosting software for Alpha Anywhere software, but, during the time I've been with them, I can recommend their services for most hosting needs (website, VPS, Alpha Anywhere, etc.).

What sets ZebraHost apart from other hosting services is the service and knowledge of their sales and support teams. They have expertise with the applications we use, like SQL Server, Windows Server, PHP and Alpha Anywhere. So, when you need help, they don't send you away, blaming YOUR application... they actually work with you to solve the issue or to find an appropriate service for your needs. As an example, when I moved a customer's Alpha Anywhere application to the ZebraHost server, they actually setup SQL Server Express, Always-Up (Windows services manager), RDPGuard (prevents server intrusion via RDP) and Veeam (full site backup), even before we published our first application. It saved us hours of time.

We had our Alpha Five driven website on another hosting service for many years. They sold their hosting and we were force transitioned to another hosting We'll call that Hosting B. Five weeks later, still not running right. Hosting B gave us incorrect IP address info. They don't know about A5, so they don't know that the private IP matters. They told us the server was "exactly the same". It wasn't - hard drive not solid state. Website throwing can't connect errors. Even after they upgraded hardware, still getting errors. They said "must be the operating system" - without dealing with the fact that THEY were providing windows! So if it's the OS, why should I fix that? Anyway - the moral of this story is, if you have an Alpha Five website, go to hosting that knows Alpha Five. Period.

When I reached out to Zebra, they were very responsive. My monthly cost is actually lower. The website is now running normally. They gave me a fixed price to simply handle the transition.
