I like that it is FREE! I like that the product is easy to use and the customer support center is always willing to help. There are parameters within a normal HRIS system that you do not get with this system. For example, I have to set up separate work stations for all of my remote employees. I feel like they should all be able to be set to the corp office without causing issue. I think Zenefits is a great program for small businesses without a lot of employees. I think the system is easy to use and the customer services is awesome.

“I have been a Zenefits customer now for a few…”
I have been a Zenefits customer now for a few months. I was able to set up my employees, and go live within 30 days. We run between 35 and 48 employees, usually, and the setup, management, and administration of this has been amazing to me. It was quite intuitive, and for the few problems that I did have during implemention, my Zenefits customer service rep was quick and knowledgeable to help me solve. We haven't been through a renewal process, but with the experience I've had so far, I don't expect to have anything but more good to say!

I love how user friendly the Zenefits website is for our employees. They love being able to log on and see their options and costs. I love that they can make their choices online and there's no paperwork for me! Cara was great at helping us get going with the Implementation process. I'm looking forward to trying some of the other features that they offer.

Cloud-based HR software is the only way to go. My employees often work remotely, and everyone is so independent that they appreciate being able to view their information from anywhere. Registration was very easy, and the interface between Gusto and Ubiquity makes administration soooo easy. I have no reasons not to recommend the platform.

Based on a mall company of 20 employees review - The process takes a decent time to set up but when done it is great to put the information into employees hands and to not have them asking questions about benefits, hours, and other H/R related questions. The website is pretty intuative and easy to use. Also since you can integrate may things then changing someone information (address, last name, etc) happens across the board in payroll, 401K, insurance and FSA.

Its a great software for businesses, the implementation manager we had was Great! The account manager was a bit slow in getting to us but we have come learn to work together and accept our time difference, his responses are always answered within a reasonable time. Zenefits Support, has been a bit different, we have had issues with employees that declined insurance and our insurance company is still charging us (one example). Take too much time for any resolution. I think the administrative & organizational components of that department need lots of improvement. But the software as a whole is great, always something new come out. We are getting the help with compliance, ACA, updates on birthdays & anniversaries (so cool), healthcare management and we are considering integrating with other products & services offered thru Zenefits.

I really liked the Benefits platform and was excited to switch over. Unfortunately the implementation has been a disaster, with silence seeming to be the choice to resolve issues. Our healthcare was quoted incorrectly, resulting in a massive increase beyond reason. The payroll switch has been filled with issues. Information on our personal sites is filled with incorrect data, wrong phone numbers for our healthcare providers, etc. Maybe it's growing pains and they'll improve over time. But the customer service, always full of apologies, is incompetent, or overworked, or inexperienced. Months into this process and it's not going smoothly at all. I do not recommend until they improve their thoroughness and competency.

David and the Zenefits crew was extremely helpful, courteous, personable and extremely knowledgeable as we were moving our benefits over. However, since then, we've tried to communicate with their team on multiple occasions and our communication (emails and voicemail) seem to go into a black hole. We've attempted to contact them no less than 10 times in the last 6 weeks and have had no response. We didn't even get a courtesy reply that they had received it and when we might expect to hear back from them. It seems that they have mastered the art of acquiring the customer, but when it comes to keeping the customer, for us, it remains to be seen. If you're considering using them, I'd wait 3 - 6 months and revisit the reviews again to see if they've made any improvements.
