Two years in as a solo photographer, and the part of fotoClient that quietly won me over is how well the admin and configuration side is laid out. Setting up lead intake forms, customizing task workflows, and controlling what clients actually see in their portal is all surprisingly intuitive. Nothing requires a manual. I had my entire business process mapped out inside the platform within a weekend, which I did not expect from software aimed at creatives. The permissions structure for client-facing views is clean and does exactly what I need it to do.
That said, there is one genuine frustration: when I want to tweak a configuration I set up months ago, finding the right settings menu takes more clicks than it should. Things are a bit buried once you get past the initial setup. It has never broken anything, but it slows me down occasionally. For a solo operator managing everything alone, fotoClient handles the business side well enough that I stopped dreading admin entirely, which is saying something.
