Six months in and the edge cases are where Indeavor really starts to show its seams. The core scheduling engine handles straightforward shift patterns fine, and the mobile app (Indeavor Engage) is genuinely something my floor supervisors appreciate. But the moment you hit anything outside the standard mold, things get messy. Split qualifications across departments, last-minute certification lapses, or employees who straddle two cost centers? The automation stumbles. You end up doing manual overrides that half the time don't sync back to the ERP the way they should. Support has been responsive but slow on actual fixes, and the workarounds they suggest feel like duct tape.
The HCM integration was sold as deep and reliable. In practice it's finicky with certain employee status transitions, like leaves that flip back to active mid-cycle. It creates phantom availability entries that take real time to clean up. For a department running steady, predictable schedules this probably works great. For anyone managing the messier realities of a mixed workforce, budget extra time for troubleshooting. It's not a write-off, but it's not the polished solution the pitch implied.
