Honestly, watching Okta keep pace with our headcount growth in real time has been the most reassuring thing about the past two months. We brought on three new hires back-to-back, and provisioning each one took maybe ten minutes. Single sign-on worked correctly out of the box, policy groups made sense immediately, and my four-person ops crew stopped fielding 'I can't log in' messages almost overnight. For a small team, that reclaimed time is enormous.
The admin console is where I spend most of my hours, and it's genuinely well organized. I hit one confusing moment around MFA policy inheritance, but their documentation cleared it up faster than I expected. Customer support responded within a business day, which I didn't take for granted given our plan tier. If your team is scaling fast and you need identity management that won't create a second full-time job to maintain, Okta has been worth every cent so far.
