The pricing structure is what's driving me up the wall after six months. What looked like a reasonable per-user cost on the plan comparison page turned into something noticeably steeper once my department needed Time Tracking and Billing, because those features sit behind a higher tier. For a mid-market team running real projects with billing requirements, that's not a footnote, that's a core need. The add-on model feels like a bait-and-switch, honestly. Support took four days to clarify what was actually included in our plan, and the answer was still confusing.
To be fair, the task management side works fine. Gantt charts load quickly, task dependencies are easy to set up, and the document integration with Zoho's own office tools is genuinely convenient. I don't hate the product. But if you're evaluating this for a department that needs timesheets and billing from day one, map out the true cost before you commit. The number on the pricing page is not the number on your invoice.
