Pricing was the first thing I scrutinized when we started evaluating Dext about a year ago, and honestly it held up better than I expected for a startup our size. The tiered structure makes sense once you understand it, and the value you get from the automatic supplier rules and the direct accounting software sync genuinely justifies the spend. I was braced for something that would nickel-and-dime us as we added headcount, and that hasn't really happened. The receipt capture alone has saved my team a genuinely embarrassing amount of back-and-forth at month end.
That said, the one gripe I keep coming back to is how the pricing page communicates what's included at each tier. It took me longer than it should have to work out exactly which Precision features we'd get access to. A clearer breakdown would remove a lot of friction for anyone doing a proper evaluation. It's not a dealbreaker, and I'd still point any growing business toward Dext without hesitation, but a little more transparency at the billing stage would push this to a five-star review.
