Support quality is the real reason I'm still here two years in. Every time I've hit a wall, whether it's a custom form behaving oddly or a workflow approval not triggering the way I expected, the Zoho People support team has been genuinely fast and specific. Not copy-paste FAQ responses. Actual humans who read the ticket, understood our setup, and came back with steps that worked. For a startup scaling from 12 to 40-plus people in under two years, that responsiveness has saved us more than once.
The product itself holds up well too. The self-service portal cut down a huge chunk of the repetitive HR requests I used to field daily, and the timesheet tools are straightforward enough that nobody on my team needed hand-holding. A few of the form customization options are buried deeper in the menus than they should be, and the mobile app occasionally lags. Minor things. The support experience alone makes me confident recommending this to anyone running lean HR at a growing company.
