Managing email for a portfolio of 15 SMB clients through agency seats, Mailchimp is my workhorse. Multi-account management has improved meaningfully since the agency-focused features rolled out a few years back. Switching between client accounts is reasonably efficient though I keep a colour-coded spreadsheet to keep brand voices straight. Most of my clients have lists between 2,000 and 30,000 contacts, which is Mailchimp's sweet spot. The template library and stock content help when clients are slow to provide assets. My recurring frustrations: client billing reconciliation across seats, and reporting dashboards that are designed for in-house teams rather than agencies needing client-ready exports.
