Honestly, the integrations are what sold me on Crafted Research and what have kept me coming back for three-plus years. Our tiny team runs on a patchwork of tools: shared drives, reference managers, Slack, a project tracker we built ourselves. What I needed was an editorial partner whose process could slot into that without requiring us to rebuild how we work. Crafted's team picked up our folder structure, matched our citation style preferences, and communicated through the channels we already used. No friction. It just fit.
Beyond that, the editorial quality is genuinely excellent. I manage a lot of policy-facing research documents, and the editors clearly understand academic conventions rather than just running spell-check. Customer service is responsive and specific, not canned. If I'm being picky, the onboarding for new document types can require a bit of back-and-forth upfront. Small price. For a team this size, having an external editorial partner who works the way you work is rare, and Crafted Research does exactly that.
