Barely two months in and WhiteSmoke has already earned a permanent place in how my agency handles client copy. We run a lot of written deliverables through this thing, proposals, web copy, email campaigns, blog drafts, and the grammar and style checks have been solid enough that I've stopped second-guessing the tool. But honestly? The support experience is what keeps surprising me.
I hit a billing configuration snag about three weeks after we onboarded the team. Not a huge deal, but the kind of thing that can quietly derail an agency setup if nobody gets back to you. I submitted a ticket expecting the usual three-day wait and a canned reply. Instead, I had a real, specific answer in under two hours. The person who responded actually understood what I was asking, followed up the next morning without me prompting them, and checked in once more to confirm everything was sorted. I have clients who don't communicate that well. It set a tone that made me genuinely more forgiving of the small quirks the product has, like the browser extension occasionally flagging perfectly fine passive constructions as errors.
For an agency context, where you're managing the tool on behalf of multiple clients with different voice guidelines, you need a support team that moves fast and thinks clearly. WhiteSmoke's does both. The value for the price point is strong, the features cover what most client work demands, and the onboarding friction was minimal. If you're considering this for agency use, the support alone makes the decision easier than it probably should be.
