Five years running a solo HR consultancy, and FreshTeam is still the backbone of how I manage everything from onboarding paperwork to time-off tracking. But the thing that keeps me here, honestly, is their support team. Every time I've hit a wall, and with software this feature-rich you do hit walls, the response has been fast and genuinely helpful. Not copy-paste scripts. Actual humans who read what I wrote and answered the specific question. That's rarer than it should be.
My one real gripe is that response times dip noticeably on weekends. As a solo operator, I don't have a team to absorb a Saturday configuration issue, so a slower support window stings more than it might for a larger company. The features themselves are solid for my needs, and the value at this price point is hard to argue with. If their weekend coverage ever catches up to the weekday quality, I'd bump this to five stars without hesitation.
