Solid VPS that actually delivers on specs Been running a production VPS with ZAP-Hosting for a few weeks now — 10 vCPU, 16GB RAM, 200GB NVMe on their Netherlands location. Hosting a fairly stacked setup: FastAPI backend with PostgreSQL 16 + pgvector, Next.js 16 app, n8n automation, multiple Telegram bots, and PM2 process manager. Everything runs smooth with no random reboots or performance drops. The NVMe storage makes a real difference — database queries are fast, and deploying multiple Node.js services doesn't choke the disk I/O like on cheaper SSD plans I've tried elsewhere. RAM ballooning is disabled by default which is exactly what you want for a predictable production environment. Their web panel gets you going quickly — OS reinstall, VNC console access, and basic server management without needing to open a ticket. The VNC console has saved me more than once when I locked myself out of SSH. Setup was straightforward: Ubuntu 22.04 installed, ready to go in minutes. The price-to-performance ratio is genuinely hard to beat in Europe. Getting 10 vCPU cores and 16GB RAM at this price point is rare. For anyone running multiple services or doing AI/ML workloads that need real CPU threads, this hits the sweet spot. Only minor gripe — the panel could use a few more advanced networking options (custom firewall rules from UI instead of command line). But that's nitpicking for a VPS provider. If you're comfortable with SSH and Linux, you won't even notice. Overall: reliable hardware, fair pricing, no surprises. Exactly what a VPS should be.
