Migrating away from our previous carbon accounting platform was genuinely overdue. What pushed me to finally make the call was how fragmented everything felt: emissions data living in spreadsheets, removal procurement handled through a separate vendor, and our decarbonization roadmap basically living in a PowerPoint. Carbon Direct's platform pulls all three into one place, and after three years of rolling it out across a large enterprise, I can say the switch was the right move. The automated emissions calculations alone saved my team weeks of manual reconciliation each quarter. Their science team is also unusually accessible, which our old vendor never offered.
