I have been a customer with Webhost.uk for a few years now, and whilst I am always impressed with the service when it works, there have been a number of issues this year with poorly maintained hardware that culminated in 3 days (so far) of down time for me and my customers. Issues that should take minutes to solve have taken hours and days so far. The live chat support is often unresponsive, with agents disappearing for 10-15 minutes at a time and then responding with "please update your ticket" and "you will be updated soon". The support tickets are handled quickly but badly, where I often have to make multiple requests for the same issue to be resolved.

I am certain that support is not handled in the UK as the English-speaking abilities of some of the staff leaves a lot to be desired. This has posed a number of problems with ensuring the speedy resolution of faults when they have occured.

Owing to the latest down time (which has been going on for 3 days, due to a critical hardware failure on the server) I am leaving Webhost.UK to find a more reliable and responsive host.
