About OnStrategy

Our mission
We believe strategic planning is more than simply achieving business goals. It creates confidence in the future.

What’s important to us
As real-world, field-driven practitioners of corporate strategy we’ve learned great strategy isn’t just about having a strategic plan. It’s about building confidence and allowing leaders to lead with that confidence by having a vision and a roadmap for getting there. It’s the kind of confidence that cascades from leadership to the front-line. Teams know where they’re going and why. Individuals contribute with purpose and meaning.

Our mission is to transform organizations by transforming the lives of people within them. When people have purpose and meaning in their work they’re better employees. Better employees create a better work environment, which in turn creates happier customers. And happy customers become loyal customers. As a result, loyal customers drive growth, profitability, and longevity that impact the financial future of employees and businesses, as well as the communities they serve. This is why we exist.

What makes us different?
We’re not just a strategic services firm. We’re not just a software company. We’re both. And success in strategy requires both having the right people on your team and the software to execute your strategic plan.

Wherever you’re at in the process we’ll meet you there. We’ll carry forward what’s working, solve for what isn’t, build a strategy together, and help you manage it with your team.

Produce useless reports and do not dive deep to provide real analysis. Do not take criticism well - in fact the CEO throws tantrums when he doesn't get his way.

I am sorry to see Shirley’s review. Unfortunately, something didn’t work for her and left a negative impression. That’s on us and we have to own it. Our apologies Shirley! That said, OnStrategy hasn’t worked with Microsoft in over 3-years as the business unit we engaged with was combined with another. We ended that engagement on a very positive note. The date of this review is over 2-years after the date of our last work session and I doubt this review is intended for us.

I ask that you don’t let this single review color who our great company is and the pride we take in collaborating with our great clients. I’d like to address the specific issue that Shirley is referring to, but it is not something that we recall on our side.

We had a great relationship with the Business Unit Strategy Director, who brought us in and worked well with the 125 member unit. http://onstrategyhq.com/customers/enterprise/microsoft/

A mission of ours is bringing purpose to employees roles and how their job impacts the company strategy. We failed in doing so with Shirley. We welcome the opportunity to show you how we can bring confidence in the future to your team.

Finally, our development team takes great pride in our reports. We listen to our customers and make their voice heard in our development roadmap. Check the reports out here.
