Review Summary
Generated using AI from real user reviews
Remote Desktop Manager is overwhelmingly praised by users as a comprehensive, time-saving connection management tool that consolidates remote access, credentials, and documentation in a single secure platform. The vast majority of reviews are five-star ratings spanning users with years of experience relying on the software daily.
Users consistently highlight the broad protocol support—RDP, SSH, SQL, VPN, FTP, and many others—as a key strength, along with the ability to organize connections through folder structures and share them across teams via centralized databases. Features like automatic VPN dial-before-connect, session recording, MFA, audit logging, password aging reports, and customizable macros are frequently mentioned as valuable for both security and efficiency. The add-on marketplace and flexibility for scripting and automation are praised for extending functionality further. Support responsiveness and continuous product updates also receive consistent positive mention.
Pricing emerges as the only notable criticism, with a couple of reviews noting costs could be lower, though most accept the value as justified. A few users express wishes for additional entry types (like AnyDesk), but these are isolated requests rather than systemic gaps. The free version is acknowledged as genuinely useful with substantial functionality.
Overall, the community response is exceptionally positive. Multiple long-term users (some over 10 years) report they cannot imagine returning to previous tools, and many have adopted it across multiple employers. No significant usability, performance, or reliability complaints surface across the 50 reviews.

“With Remote Desktop Manager, me and my team have a…”
With Remote Desktop Manager, me and my team have a single pane of glass for managing our infrastructure’s servers, network devices and cloud based services, for both the internal networks and our robust cloud platform. Other areas of the business benefit in other ways such as having a product that simplifies access to supporting our customers, without compromising security. RDM is so powerful and capable, I wouldn’t want to be without it.

“I have been using Remote Desktop Manager for years, including…”
I have been using Remote Desktop Manager for years, including for managing my remote sessions, but also for managing my passwords. We share a Database with my team, and it is really easy to share sessions, and passwords, also bookmarks, and many more. We did try other solutions and nothing equals this one!

“As someone who has been using Remote Desktop Manager for…”
As someone who has been using Remote Desktop Manager for several years now, I can tell you that it is a big time saver! By managing multiple connection types (RDP, SSH, Web URLs in multiple browsers, iLO, iDRAC, etc) I no longer have to open multiple programs to do my job! And using the embedded Credential Repository, it makes accessing these connections SUPER EASY! And when it comes time to change my password(s), I change them in ONE place, and my 500+ connections don't need to be manually changed.
