I am an accountant, supporting eCommerce businesses. Expandly can draw income data from multiple marketplaces like Amazon, Ebay and Etsy and also eCommerce sites that use Shopify, OpenCart,, WooCommerce etc. It allows businesses to centrally control their listings, inventory and orders, and from my perspective as an accountant has the best VAT functionality of the Apps that I have found. It allows data to be uploaded effortlessly and effectively to Xero using appropriate tracking categories and Tax Rates. If you are making significant sales in multiple jurisdictions, then this is definitely worth reviewing.

Back in September 2016 I was on the market looking for a multi channel system to help maintain a small part time reseller business were I would sell on two big marketplaces. And at the time the big well known one, had just put their prices up, and way out of my price range. To I come across expandly, looked like they was a new player in the market. So got a good deal, and to date still with them, for price and in uk pounds which helps with the bookkeeping and also their brilliant uk based support team. Only thing i would like to see more of is bring in support for drop ship integrations, as currently is more geared to stock based system, is a model I expanding in to supplant my stock based business.

I mentioned them in another review that I was forced to censor, so I'm letting people know this is a great company. I have had their trial and the UI looked very modern, and the price is unbeatable! I am waiting for just one feature to be added to expandly (manual mapping of inventory and the ability to link different skus to a single product). They said they would have this feature available this year. Once they get that feature going, I plan on switching to them permanently. Their CS was absolutely amazing, they were very fast to respond to questions and very helpful. I was impressed wtth the UI and I look forward to switching.

I was nervous about investing in Expandly as I wasn't sure if it would be worth it, but a year later and it remains one of the best decisions I've made! I sell on multiple platforms (including Amazon, Shopify, Etsy and Ebay) and Expandly has been an absolute game changer in terms of allowing me to manage everything in one place. I was also a bit cynical about getting the level of support I needed being such a small business. However, their customer support team are outstanding. They've gone out of their way to help me with any issue, respond quickly and have really taken the time to help me get the most out of Expandly. It has already reduced my time dealing with orders by 40% which has really allowed me to focus on actually growing the business.

“I needed to find an app which linked my Etsy…”
I needed to find an app which linked my Etsy and Shopify orders to my Xero account. I wanted one platform which offered an automatic and seemless transfer of sales information. Expandly does this effortlessly - I also managed to save money by just having Expandly rather than the Xero app on my Shopify and another pushing sales through from my Etsy store. The thing that really sold it to me though are the team behind the app - unlike a lot of other apps I signed up to, Jack and Ali were always available on the phone to explain the benefits or fix something I may have done incorrectly. This made the entire set up feel effortless- I was sat in a meeting with my accountant the other day and realised I’d not set something up correctly, but one two minute phone call to the Expandly team and it was all fixed. My accountant was very impressed. Well done on, not only a great product, but also maintaining great customer service. You’ve made my life a lot easier!
