"They offer a good service with good customer support, sometimes it takes a little longer to fix an issue, but it is obvious that they are doing their best to solve the problem. Unlike my previous hosting company they don't hesitate to escalate things if needed, so you know it's gonna be fixed. Uptime is also good, I have experienced just a few times during the years of service. Last month I was behind on my personal finances and naturally was late on paying my renewal fee. So I asked them not to suspend my account. As a result they gave me two weeks grace period without suspending my account for which I am still thankful."

So far all hosting companies I have worked with offer their shared hosting plans on as is basis, so if a feature is missing then you have to upgrade to a VPS or even higher plan, which means paying at least double on what you are already paying. With hosted this is not the case I recently got a a php error message that file_get_contents() is disabled for security reasons. I contacted the support rep that answered me back then and with in not more than an hour I had the problem fixed and was told that they allow customizations if necessary, this came by surprise, but unlike with other hosts it was a good surprise :)

When I opened my Joomla website hosted by host-ed.net I found a new version was available but I was unable to update. For some reason I got an error message that the upgrade cannot b performed and I should contact my server administrator. and this is what I did. I fired a ticket and with in less than half an hour I got a reply "Your joomla version has been updated to its latest version" This was a five start customer service.

I have used host-ed.net for my web sites for 2+ years and always found their technical support and up time excellent. Recently I had a problem with one of my wordpress plugins. For some reason after upgrading it was not loading properly. At the begging I hesitated whether to contact them or not since it didn't look like a server issue, but decided to give it a shot anyway. I sent a ticket to the support and within 40 minutes they had already pinpointed the problem which was the usual missed ";" symbol in one of the plugin's files. They saved me a lot of time and trouble. If I had to fix this myself I would probably still be dealing with it - yeah I have absolutely no talent for programming. Host-ed might not be one of the most famous providers out there, but they sure compensate with quality service.

You can contact them for virtually anything. Once I even had a problem with a MySQL queries that was overusing my account resources and they helped me optimize it.
