Finding good hosts that offer the features I want, especially with regard to support for frequently updated frameworks, is hard to do when economics is also a factor. Hostforlife hits every box on the list: affordability, support, and staying up-to-date with their .NET/SQL/Windows updates from Microsoft. And being able to use my native clients, such as Visual Studio, SQL Manager, and IIS Remote means that I can continue to use the tools I know the best while getting the job done. Tech support at Hostforlife has been especially helpful, particularly when they must demonstrate the utmost patience in resetting root because my poor web deploy config rewrite permissions! The level of services that they provide is way more than what we need, but it's stable and the support team has been helpful and responsive whenever we need them. Although we don't take advantage of the strong Microsoft stack (just another Wordpress site here) I can see from the functionality available as well as the strong support we have received from their technical support team that Hostforlife is the best choice for my websites. I would strongly recommend Hostforlife for any Microsoft/IIS based web application that needs to be robustly supported.

I moved over from Godaddy to Hostforlife more than a year ago and couldn't be happier. The uptime has been 99.999% for my websites. I use MYSQL for my database and ASP for my application. Both these services have been highly available. Webmail has been down twice in the past 12 months but support has brought the service up gain within minutes of a ticket being raised.
