Do not be afraid of complexity.
Pros: My opinion of OroCommerce is sincere and very precise, there are two things that I love:

1 the implementation is wonderful and accurate
2 has a very fast development speed.

Cons: My first using OroCommerce was like a nightmare, it's hard to use. I already have control and I can already say that I managed to overcome complexity.

Overall: Complexity is a problem that can be solved in two months.

OroCommerce is really good in terms of its implementation as it's built on in a very systematic way. I have experienced other e-commerce solutions which have a mix of third-party acquired software that doesn't integrate thought out the system.

In terms of functional implementation, I see this as only e-commerce solution that has been built B2B e-commerce in mind. When the transaction is between 2 business that the nature of the problem will be different by its own. This has been handled very well in OroCommerce

Pros: Flexible and structured for developer
Have great ecosystem (ERP PIM CRM ... )
Have CRM Included
Have version Open source
Good B2B user experience!

Cons: Should have more doc
Architecture not easy for a beginner developer
Should have more extension and theme

Overall: Very Good flexible soft which have a nice ecosystem

Pros: Datagrid is a powerful tool
Web catalog is powerful
CRM is fantastic
Customers, accounts users levels are very useful

Cons: No way to customize layout from the admin side
Performance on Windows OS
No clear doc for backbone components and widgets

Pros: The speed of development for complex business applications : start an e-commerce with complex business rules in less time and easier to maintain source code in the long term.
Cons: EntityConfigBundle/EntityExtendBundle tooling is incomplete today, developing new extended entities means importing 100s times the DB a day. Having debug tools to manipulate or view what is wrong (eg. in the debug bar) would help a lot.

Pros: The features' list is very huge : entities manager, product bundle, customer portal...

Cons: It's too slow to work in the local environment, and there is not a docker to work easily in a new environment.

Oro has hit the sweet spot. Their out-of-the-box solution met 90 percent of our requirements and offered sufficient flexibility to let us perform our own implementation.
