The tests are few and far between, but when you get one, they pay consistently. I registered about a month ago and in that time have only had 5 tests that I qualified for. The upside is, when you finally see a test you qualify for, and complete it, they pay quicker than most competitors. I wish there were more opportunities, but I have zero complaints about how they are conducted or how they are paid out. Decent company, just needs more market coverage.

Giving a 1 star review because i signed up about 2 weeks ago and took about 6 days for my qualification test to be approved and now being about another 5 days later i still have not been offered any test. Meanwhile i started with a different site called userlytics at the exact same time, no qualification test which means you can get right to testing. received my first test within hours and it paid triple what trymyui was offering. my advice is go with userlytics

I just finished the trial test.
I didn't see anything saying that it won't work on a mac, so I moved forward. But the file you download for the test, didn't work. I even downloaded it a couple times, thinking maybe there was something wrong with it. I'm guessing that was supposed to be the website we look at for the answers? All that appeared was a skinny, vertical, gray box - no website, no pictures, no words, etc., just a light gray box. So I wasn't able to complete any of the tasks.
But now, here's the kicker: After not being able to complete any tasks, I received an email saying congratulations, I received a 5 out of 5, which is the maximum score (most likely a generic response).

I'm going to look more into it, but there doesn't appear to be much you have to do to qualify or pass the test.

I was hoping that this would work, but having the customer give a rating of 1/5 based on my test "being on an iPad" (which it was not-- I did said test on my laptop) after receiving a 4/5-- with perfectly valid criticism-- from TryMyUI. Sure, it makes sense for the customer to rate the test, and perhaps deny any further ones from the same person, but to reject a perfectly good 20 minutes of -constructive- feedback???? I'm sorry, but I'd like to be compensated for the work I put in. Is that too much to ask?

Wish I could give a lower rating. Don't expect payment.

I have thoroughly enjoyed doing user tests for TryMyUI. The tests are simply yet enjoyable, and they pay very well ($10 for a 15 minute test.) I see some complaints on here about being rejected - I actually like that they only accept good testers. It keeps their quality up and makes sure they're only giving money to people who are trying hard.
I have done two tests since I started, and they were both paid fairly promptly via PayPal. The first one was paid within a week-and-a-half, and the second one within four days.
My only complaint is that it would be nice if there were more tests. You can go several days without getting one. However, they do make sure that if you haven't gotten a test in a while you are the first to be notified when one is available for your demographic.
Overall, nice service and a good way to earn some extra cash.

I would warn away any companies thinking to hire Trymyui. Their business model is based on unethical and dishonest practices. Distance yourself and find a reputable testing company. I would not hire Trymyui nor would I suggest anyone become a tester.

Just signed up as a tester, and took on my first test. The instructions told me to look at the web page for 15 seconds and then give my impressions in answer to the questions. When I clicked start, I saw a loading page for 10 seconds and then a web page for about 5 seconds, during which I was supposed to navigate several pages deep and retrieve information. My feedback said I hadn't completed the task because I should have clicked the "I am finished with the test" buttone (I did) and not the restart button (I didn't).

I don't know who tested their user experience, but I found it to be pretty shabby!

If it were possible to give these clowns half a star, It still wouldn't be justified. This is one site I find totally clueless about testing.

The one that eats the cake is being sent a test on my phone only for the test to say it's not suitable to take this test on a phone.

Seriously?!!!

TryMyUI is a rip off. Do not waste your valuable time on this website. TryMyUI rejected both of my reviews and did not compensate my time for those reviews, while I am a five star tester with UserTesting. I constantly receive very positive comments from UserTesting's clients, and TryMyUi rejected my both reviews!!!. Someone should close the doors of TryMyUI. They are just a bunch of crooks.

Complete waste of time for testers.

1. Completed tests remain pending for weeks at a time.
2. Completed tests are often rejected for no good reason and without adequate explanation.
3. By chance, if a test is accepted, payment is always delayed and never per the schedule provided on the FAQs page.

I have read the other reviews on this site and they are all spot on with what I am experiencing. Trymyui seems to be a rip off for the testers. I have done testing for other websites and have always had a 5 star rating. Trymyui scored me low because I didn't state how i qualified for the test.??? What??? They never told me Inhad to do that.... and even when I do state it in the recording Ill get a pop up telling to me state that and to restart the test in 10 minutes or it will be given to someone else... This happens after I have finished the test! Too many tech difficulties and I have only been paid for my first test. I have been rejected on 2 and have 3 pending customer review. I am not holding my breath for payment. Someday there will be a class action suit filed on them and I will claim my $50.00 Untilnthen I won't be doing anymore testing for them or wasting anymore of my valuable time.

TOTAL RIP OF FOR TESTERS. I complete tests on other sites that are not owned by trymyui and I have been paid every time but with trymyui they claim testers make mistakes and keep the money for themselves. My past 10 tests they have not paid me for 5 tests. They list everything from my headphone working to now the test ran longer than 30 mins so they are not paying me. I guarantee that Trymyui gives companys my tests that are perfectly fine and lies to me telling me they are wrong just so they can keep the extra money. TryMyUi rips testers off.

No many tests to do, lucky to get 1 or 2 a week. I haven't been paid for reviews that are 2 weeks old, even thought client rated my reviews 5 star.
Seem like a too early startup with many technical issues.

I'm a tester for TryMyUI and I can confirm that they do not pay you on time and they also do not return any kind of communication you try to initiate with them through their contact form (I have even checked my junk folder). I've contacted them about 3 times through their contact form in the past month and haven't gotten anything back from them. On their website, it says that you get paid for your tests every Friday but that only happened for the very first test I took. Since, then I've taken 3 tests and haven't gotten paid for them. I should have been paid for two of them two weeks ago. Also, I'm pretty sure that they do not conduct any kind of user testing on their own website. Which is pretty ironic, right?

I have like a 40% rejection rate at this point and none of the rejections were for good reason. One test was for a "website" that was one image and two lines of text. The company rep said my review was too short. Another test failed to give me the written portion, and I contacted them about it via email and Twitter without response. The last test was for not completing all of the tasks (I deny this. Conveniently for them I cannot play the video recording of the test back. In the future I will be making local recordings.)

I will be taking them to small claims court if this keeps happening. Since they do advertising in my state they'd be within my local jurisdiction. I'm willing to gamble with $85 for the filing fee that they won't even defend themselves from across the country and I'll automatically win. I'll wait until I've gotten a few more rejected tests though.

As a tester, the first couple of tests I did were fine. My job was to be a tester and look around the website. When I looked around the website, my test was rejected. Sometimes rules were made after my test was complete and then it was rejected because of some new rule. It was good for a few tests, but they were not interested in anything but a one timer tester.

I like Trymyui because as a tester, I have had Great results. If my demographic meets the test requirements then I get to take the test. I check every day multiple Times a day to see if there are any tests available. The only thing I don't like is, I don't personally get tests. These tests are available for anyone in the same demographic so we kind of have to fight over who clicks on the test first.
I have never had a problem with this company paying me within 3 days of taking a test. I answer honestly and have nothing but 5 stars on my profile. If I know about any other sites that I could also make money from like this one I would definitely join.
I have no idea how trymyui finds the companies that ask for testers.
I do, however, wish there were more tests. Multiple Times Per day, I actually like doing them.

I don't understand what people are crying about- I've been with them for about 8 months now and they've been fair and articulate about what improvements I need to make, when they can leave feedback. I think some of the complaints are unrealistic - my opinion, and you know what they say about those:)
They do have they issues, don't get me wrong, but when the rubber hits the road they deliver. I've had the unanswered tickets but when the current download wasn't working I received a prompt response.
As for their payments, I've never had a payment go past the following Friday. Meaning that if I took a test on a Tuesday then my payment would be by the following Friday, at the latest. The one time it was longer than that they sent an email to everyone explaining why - that was Christmas time and we had so many tests it was nonstop!
I get the feeling that people forget that this side of their business is not what pays the bills for them, so while it's rude that they don't answer us they do answer us when it's important! We work for them, they don't work for us after all.

TryMyUi is a Total rip off. I am or was a tester for them and they do not pay us after we successfully complete tests for them and trust me I am not the only tester they have not paid. They lie and tell us testers that they will pay us a said amount and they do not pay and they never respond to me emails concerning this. I completed a $20 test on Feb 26, 2017 for the Rheem corporation and I still have not been paid. Well I am going to contact Rheem and let them know who they are doing business with. DO NOT TRUST TRYMYUI EVER with you time or money!!!

I would give them a 0 if it allowed me to do so. They're a fraud. They do not pay their testers and when you try to collect payment you get no response back. Do not waste your time! Go look for work at UserTesting or WhatUsersDo instead. Both have been great. UserTesting pays promptly and has a lot more work.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. These people offer a free first trial and yet when we signed up to do a test, they debited our account for it. They also have not delivered any results despite having created this test weeks ago. Don't use them - they are also impossible to contact if you have a problem. They're essentially just fraudsters.

I would give it Zero stars if available.

A) The co. is slow to find testers per the given specs.

B)They do not use a screening tool to ensure your testers actually qualify. They advertise on Amazon Mech Turk and tell the participants the qualifications needed, so you don't really know if the people testing your site actually meet the criteria or not.
C) The co. charged my credit card multiple times after being told we were not interested in a month-to month subscription. They did not return multiple calls or emails. We had to get the fraud dept of our credit card co. involved.

TryMyUi is a shady company and I recommend everyone stays away. They exploit and rip people off. I invested my time into them and can tell from personal experience that you can look forward to them rejecting your tests for reasons never mentioned in their guidelines, putting admin_voided codes on your tests without any explanation and not responding to any messages or voicemails. STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF! Take it from my experience please.
