Overall: Our teachers use Whatspot to reserve rooms for meetings. Our student's use the app to check to see if a room is free for a spontaneous chill session. Our administration staff uses the app to reserve rooms for external customers, who rent our space after hours.
Pros: The software has made it possible for us to begin renting out space after hours and helped keep us from going crazy during the day. With 240 students and 50 staff members, parent meetings and student activities, this tool isn't just helpful, its absolutely essential. We are happy to work with the Whatspot team, they are open to our feedback and doing a terrific job.
Cons: There isn't anything that we don't like. Editing events could be more intuitive. It's a minor issue.
Reasons for Choosing Whatspot: Most products seemed to be overkill. Whatspot didn't require any user training. It's essentially plug and play.

Overall: It made booking meeting rooms a lot easier for us.It was possible to implement the solution and get it up and running in just 2 days (we have almost 100 users)!
Pros: Easy to configure (create users, create rooms, define access).Simple and intuitive for the user to check room occupancy and create reservations for rooms at unoccupied times.
Cons: It bothers me that configuring users always goes back to the beginning when I configure a user.In addition to deactivating a user that is no longer used, it should be possible to delete it.

"Everything we wanted."
Overall: Whatspot has been great to work with. When we had an issue, they were quick to resolve it and even rolled out a new update based on our feedback within just a few days.
Pros: We were looking for a software with some specific criteria, including that it was public-facing so users didn't have to create an account to book a reservation, but we still had the ability to approve or deny listings.
Cons: I do wish we had the ability to embed it on a website, and to set specific hours for specific spots.

Overall: We have one room used for meetings, lessons and departmental functions and it is to everybody's advantage to be able to see the availability basically at the click of the mouse. We are able to book the room for single and recurring meetings and update or delete meetings as required.
Pros: The product is a pleasure to use - no frills, fuss or complications. We were able to download and set up our room booking in minutes. Whatspot's free version is ideal for managing a single room in the department that is used by different groups. We looked at many free room management products and none gave us the what Whatspot has. I highly recommend the product.
Cons: Our needs are simple and there is nothing about the product that we would want to change
Reasons for Choosing Whatspot: No other free products offered the ease of use that Whatspot did.

Intuitive app, easy to implement. It is easy to implement in the company. Great notification system. Adding reservations is simple and quick. You can view sources publicly. The cost is reasonable. I like the support always very pleasant to help. They are active in giving tips how to use the service. It is good that you can deactivate approval process if you need.

Pros: We looked for many room booking systems which were extremely overpriced! Luckily we found Whatspot who saved the day for us!
