Switching platforms is never painless, and our previous system had us duct-taping together three different tools just to run a wine club that supports our educational mission. WineDirect pulled all of that into one place. The Vin65 ecommerce side is miles ahead of what we left behind, especially for managing club tiers and compliance across multiple states. The fulfillment integration alone saved my team weeks of back-and-forth every quarter. Three years in, and I still notice things working the way I'd hoped they would from day one.
The one area I'd flag is customer service response time. It's improved noticeably over the past year, but early on it felt slow for urgent issues. That said, when support staff did engage, they actually knew the product cold. For a non-profit running a tasting and education program on a lean budget, the value here is real. If you're coming from a patchwork setup and want something built specifically for DTC wine sales, this is the platform I'd point you toward.
