It would be great if there were a way to require that employees enter bank account information and disable the paper check option all together. I believe this is legal in North Carolina, where we are located, as long as the employee receives a pay stub. It would also be amazing if there were a built in team communication portal. We currently use GSuite to build Groups which can encompass non-Gmail email addresses, as well as HotSchedules. It is a bit difficult to always be adding folks' emails to so many different systems. If Zenefits could track employee reviews based on their position/wage changes, that would also be amazing! That's all for now. The aesthetic of the site is nice. The overall idea of employee/administrator shared duties is nice. The onboarding process is almost as efficient as I think it could be and the insurance function works pretty well with some exceptions. The multiple integrations with other software are also vast and offer many options for integration. Does not integrate with QB Manufacturing Edition. Does not offer multiple job roles/pay rates (this keeps us from further exploring any timekeeping or alternative payroll integration). Org chart does not allow for multiple owners/CEOs. Does not allow for tracking of certifications or training for employees. Insurance deductions aren't correct after 2 fixes...still waiting on support for this. There is no general alert system upon logging in, as there was on the old platform. I-9 verification does not require employees to upload enough documentation. i.e. they can upload a driver license and not the 2nd form of ID, so when I receive the request to verify, there is only one form of ID there and I have to chase them down for the 2nd. If they do go into Zenefits to upload another form of ID, it is difficult to navigate.

Overall I believe zenefits is very user friendly. The layout is very pleasant on the eyes. I like that you have the option to put a picture to every employee and that you can create charts with the information you want. The templates for on-boarding is a bet confusing. I always have to triple check my work before I send any offer letters or 3 month probation papers.

The absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with. The process went on for Six Weeks and I was never able to use their service. I would email and call repeatedly. They always told me someone would call me back, but when they did, they couldn't figure out why my account was still "in process". After countless hours on the phone and wasted time, I threw in the towel and cancelled my account. Avoid this service at all costs.

As an HR system, we get most of the functions within zenefits. it also helps to manage and keeping employee savings details. We provide a couple policies to employees to have their savings. Zenefits calculate the savings for all people and reminds us of time when to provide them extra money to make their savings. If employees can also see their saving details and have a login to zenefits, that will be best. As of now, we as HR have logins and team does not have it. So having a guest user type will be best. The user management can be improved. Rest all works fine and is helpful for our company. We can manage all data in the required way and get reports out of this system.

There is not a one size fits all HRIS, but Zenefits comes close. The user-friendliness is unlike anything I've seen yet, and I've used many HRIS's. The customer services is pretty good, though I have had to follow up on more technical questions that I needed to be resolved. The sales team did oversell the customization, but the system has come closer than any other to meeting our tracking and compliance needs. User-friendly Can't customize a few things
