I put my AlphaRacks account through a lot of tests (some intentional, some unintentional by my mistake) during the past 6 months that I had it, installing and uninstalling 3 different CMS’s sequentially to create landing pages, creating and testing email account functionality, looking into my customer area, checking the server stats etc. During all of this I did not encounter any issues at all, which was impressive to say the least. By contrast at my past 4 hosting companies I had to put in a couple of support tickets in my first month or two during the natural course of things. I was very impressed with the large amount of functionality that AlphaRacks includes within their services, and definitely recommend it based on my experiences.

We previously hosted our infrastructure between Vultr, Virpus and NodeServ. We were consistently facing downtime and sluggish performance namely on the latter provider. Having used AlphaRacks for my personal websites since 2014, I took the initiative recently to recommend my company's IT director to consider migrating some of their infrastructure to AlphaRacks service. Fast forward to two months later, they were so happy that they eventually migrated off *entirely* from those 3 providers, and consolidated everything into multiple instances with AlphaRacks. We are extremely happy with the cost savings, as well as the uptime.

After me and my friend who owns a VPS server on the host have had our server transfered and reinstalled 2 times already and sending countless support tickets to get the problems fixed. I have to say, AVOID THIS PIECE OF **** HOSTING SERVICE AT ALL COSTS. Our VPS took 24 hours to boot the linux OS it was running on after I issued a server reboot via the panel, the server was unresponsive while idling (less than 1% cpu usage) After we were transfered the 2nd time when I tried restoring backup the connection just kept dropping as it was unresponsive for no reason again. before that when they "fixed" our issue the VPS started being unresponsive again not even 12 hours after they claimed "we fixed it". We used to get responses like this: "your server is working fine and responsive." when it wasn't even usable not to mention insane ping. This is literally the worst hosting service one could use, if you use it, request a refund and switch to a more reliable host like hosting24.com or ramnode, if you think it's expensive you can get the same specs VPS for cheaper there but it'll be reliable with no similar issues like on alpharacks. I hope you learned something today about using hosting services. I personally use hosting24.com for shared hosting and never had any issues and used to have a 1 month free VPS on there with lowest tier. it was way better than whatever we have on alpharacks as of this time. JUST AVOID ALPHARACKS AT ALL COSTS! IT'S A SCAM!
