Beyond disappointed in Crazy Domains. Over 2 weeks of no business email and numerous times our website was down and wasn't aware. Over 7 hours spent on the phone trying to fix the issue. The loss of income is growing everyday. It's not fair as we are a small owned and operated business that can't afford a service provider to not rectify the problem quickly.

Same as Max's 5 Feb 2019 one star rating. No email access since migration. More than 15 back and forth contacts and still not resolved. No emails = no business. Pathetic IT service.

Thank you for answering my call earlier. Upon checking your account, we can see that you have a Premium Email Protection that helps us filter Spam. With Premium Email Protection, you will have a Quarantine Inbox where all your emails will be screened before it gets delivered to your Inbox. When we looked into your Quarantine Inbox, we can see that some of the emails were quarantined by the system. Rest assured, that you can still review those emails and release them from Quarantine so they will get delivered to your Inbox. You can also set up a Whitelist that will make sure that you will always receive emails from a specific email address, IP address, or domain name. The only time the Premium Email Protection Firewall filters a message from someone on your Whitelist is when the message contains a virus or a disallowed attachment file extension. We sent you an email on the steps on how to manage your Quarantine Inbox.

Crazy domains appears cheap and reliable but it is impossible to get action when they make a mistake. After paying for 10 years in hosting and they transferred my site to their hosting I am not receiving emails and I can'y access files in a cloud server, and my business development manager is not taking calls.

I was notified that my Hobson.Me needed to be more secure and it was the expectation that servage.net would fix the problem and yet i have not had any similar comments about my other domains and do not understand why. This domain is only redirecting email so why the necessity.
Service was good but just missing the explanations and possible reasons.

products reasonably priced.
product conditions are not overly clear at point of purchase (unlimited storage does NOT mean unlimited storage, no backups are allowed!).
"support nation" emails are threatening and rude, and not very helpful and clear in describing problems.

Crazy Domains is a very good hosting site. They manage domains for great prices and I am very satisfied for what I get in contrast to other sites. Their staff provide decent customer service, been to quite a few website companies, hosts, domain sites and they are very good if you want to work on details. Includes WordPress, and many other things that you can work on to create a website.

I own Altaifreelance.com and the domain always works great. I am transferring from wix because they do not do WordPress and I have not had one sale on my website from their relationship with big tech.

Chrys A from Crazydomains helped me establish my artist website over many months. He was extremely patient as my needs were different from a regular client-business style website.
Chrys was very reliable to contact me and follow up on issues in the design of the site; he was always available to a given timeframe that I requested.
There were at least a hundred images that needed labelling and ordering, as well as textblocks etc. Chrys helped me develop a concept as to how to present my projects in a logical and attractive way.
Chrys was very polite and always made sure he understood my instructions before handling changes to the site, in order to be time-efficient.
I hope to stay with Crazy Domains and continue to work with Chrys A in the future.

The most important factor in giving 5 stars is that they have a local number that I can call 24/7. Then comes the service, which is always friendly and professional. Had an existing provider who's service had dropped significantly ! Needed to change to a more reliable mail provider and hosting a simple website some MySql databases. Was a bit hesitant after reading some random reviews, but would have to say, my experience has been great ! Economical as well as a good feature set .. Had a couple of occasions to chat to get assistance with migrating settings, domains, mx records etc. - the helpfulness & knowledge of the operators has been great and very easily solved my issues. Perhaps should have sought some clarity around 2 issues - the primary domain is the only one that can have premium email support, and the versions of PHP appear to be global across multiple sub-sites. Can work around both those at this stage ..

Crazy domains was great for me until they tried to migrate to new system. I have a store and it will not go onto new platform. They changed my site and put old stock that was sold over twelve months ago on for sale again. Upset my customer base and caused a lot of problems. They say they cannot do it and I have to start again.
Great. countless hours of work and lost revenue. No talk of compensation or help.
No understanding of my business. No caring at all.
All I get is a chat with someone overseas who can not understand my issue.
Unless things change soon....I will never recommend this company again.

I would rate Crazy Domain no stars if i could. I recently bought Premium SSL for my site the whole process is much two slow, crazy domain have not contacted my accountant for verification how hard could that really be, its now about 2 months in since i have purchased this package and still NO RESULTS.

When i call all there number, it just rings out with no answer

I highly advised not to proceed with CRAZY DOMAIN they have such poor customer service and response time is horrible, i run a small business and customer service should be at the front of any business who provides a service, clearly crazy domains dont value customers

Was not compatible with click Funnels and 3 months later my naked domain does still not work and people cannot find my site, despite going through the help desk often. Have ended up going with another domain server because of problems. I?m not that good with computer stuff anyway and crazy domains just seemed pretty complicated and not straight forward

It seems they keep changing the payment method. Today I renewed one of my .com domain and they raise an invoice of ? 633.75 but they charge ? 695.95 from my card. When I raise the issue to customer care - they replied that bank charged me extra amount. The fact is they are showing amount in INR and charging the amount in USD. Better to avoid such provider.

I received email and call as well from the Cathy M and it was wonderful to have a talk with her. CrazyDomains refunded the extra amount in my wallet that was charged during the domain renewal.
They changed my view. Recommended.

Anytime I have had a concern I have rung, not waited long and always had the problem resolved. Several months ago I asked why the email format hadn't been updated when other email providers eg google and yahoo had had several refreshes. Recently I was delighted to see that the webmail template had been updated. Wonderful.

Just some feedback Email Hosting via cPanel Issues: You keep changing your Host Servers (3 times now for some in last couple of years and those that managed their DNS Records externally have several changes to make. - No method of backing up email boxes as they are not contained within clients Email Hosting cPanel. Thats a big issue for some. - No method of setting mail.domainname.com.au for email Webaccess. In turn no easy way for clients to remember the URL for Webmail. No one setting for us knowing what Email Server is being used for Mail Settings i.e. We have to go to EMail Hosting cPanel and check Server Details to get the correct Server Name to pass onto clients. It should be one setting works for all clients (Painful). NEW MEMBER ACCOUNT PASSWORDS: You have removed the password from the Account Setup emails. This removes the capability for us as Resellers to be able to assist clients who have initial login issues. We would have to reset the password and email it to them regardless.Please return to including the passwords in Account Setup emails. Clients can always change them where required when logged in. Support = Generally very good and Reseller Team (& Direct support) always friendly & helpful. Regards Mark

Clear plans. Quick response to issues. Their servers had all the correct software to run our website. A seemingly abundant amount of information. Overall quite happy. Some email issues to do with blocking of sent emails to a group (15 email addresses) but I was told that this is to stop Crazy Domains customers sending spam. At least we received emails saying that our emails couldn't be delivered.

I use CrazyDomains quite heavily for multiple customers and overall they provide good support, good uptime and fast servers (even the shared are pretty good compared to others). Their Control Panel is very user friendly. I wont be migrating to anyone else for the foreseeable future.

They don't issue refunds on domain registration when their registrar does. They throw you off say it's up to the registrar and once payment is proceed nothing can be done which is not true. Contacted the registrar and they said they will issue refunds up to 3 days to Crazy Domains!! so they are not abiding by Australia Consumer law and just keep your money.

We have read a few negative reviews about Crazy Domains and we are surprised at some of the comments. Our Perth based company has been using them for 6 years.They have always been very professional, polite and helpful, sure occasionally somethings don't go as expected but they get resolved pretty quickly. We are an IT company so may understand more about the technical aspect of what goes on in the back-end than some of the other commenters. You get what you pay for and frankly for the price we have no concerns with the product.

My original decision to use Crazy Domains (domain registration) was shamelessly driven by price. And then as my requirements grew (website hosting, SEO etc) they were incumbent, convenient and offered everything I needed from a supplier of "commodities". But then I needed a bit more. Less product and more knowledge and support. And at ridiculous times of the day when I had a chance to get to what needed to be done. My most recent interactions with CD have been fantastic. They didn't patronize when I didnt know something and recognised when I did. Every problem solved.

I will not be renewing my subscription! I was lied to - they told me I was getting a new upgraded, migrated product. I paid $380 for a template that isn't migrated & which they cant publish because the shop is from an independent company. The old system they are using doesn't accept the newer shop platform so what I am stuck with is 2 pieces of shit that don't speak to one another. I have asked time & time again to speak with a manager but they dont listen to me. They keep sending me generic emails which are very insulting. I went with Crazy Domains as they had 24 hour support. I should of gone with Wix & will be going there next time for sure. This is a huge waist of money & time- I give them a below zero star for effort as they lie & ignore & don't keep their word. Plus their software is ancient compared to Wix but they still charge you a fortune - which I don't mind paying but the product as to be up to standard...

I am totally non-technical and have no idea how to code. But I have now used Crazy Domains Site Beat to produce 3 sites. These are ceomentor.com. nevillechristie.com And ceomentorroundtable.com This has opened up a new world to me. Everything about the program is easy, and reasonably intuitive. I am able to learn and keep changing and improving each site easily at will. But far better has been the 24 hour service. I have a client manager called Amanda. Amanda is located in the Philippines but is available during Australian office hours via a Sydney phone number. Outside of that other team members are available 24 hours. Everyone is expert, great at leading you through any steps to develop or change anything, and very helpful. Their English is tops. The quality of the training and support is beyond impeccable and is worth many times the annual cost of the whole SiteBeat Program. I have absolutely no hesitation in totally and utterly recommending both Crazy Domains and Site Beat in particular.

Crazy Domain is a brand you can trust. I have been with crazy domain for past 3.5 years as a business user. I am a web designer and I have all my clients' domains registered and hosted through Crazy Domain. Every technology have its ON and OFF days and there were times when there technical issues with Crazy Domain as well. However all issues were resolved soon or within a specified time-frame. Their support staff on chat or phone are by my opinion of the best in the world. I have used chat more than calling them and I have never come across a single staff member who was rude, not helpful or someone who was not pro-active and take the situation on-hand and provide A-Class service. They even made sure by subsequent email follow-up after the chat to ensure that the issue I had was fully resolved and no further support is necessary before closing the ticket. Therefore I always spend time to complement and review the customer service team member. Remember Crazy Domain your BEST ASSET is your Customer Service Staff members so treat them well so that they can provide us great service and in return you get our trust and business. CON: The only issue I think with Crazy Domain is that they are not so rigorously active on social media platform in spite of such young and flambyout company. They should be active on posting updates and issues immediately on social media platform other than just promoting their products and services. I would support and promote Crazy Domain whenever or wherever I could.

Their services is shocking!!!!! Crazy domains is quick to take your money, but not quick to resolve issues and there operators have an attitude problem.

They wanted my user name and password, yet they have no policy in place for this information. When I asked to speak to a manager the operator said "Why" and another said "their on a break and to busy to come to the phone".

It has been 3 days an my issue has still not been resolved and all they keep saying is we will raise it with our system administrator.

To be honest I would much rather get pocked in the eyes with a hot poker than have to keep dealing with the sales assistance who act as though they know what they are doing but can't resolve anything.

If you NEED you emails... Then Seriously, DO NOT USE CRAZY DOMAINS !!!
Save your TIME, MONEY, and EFFORTS on long calls on the phone - With No Results.
You will be given generic answers when you cannot retrieve your emails (As a result of their own internal server issues).
I didn't listen to others and learnt the hard way.
PLEASE Do Not Put Yourself through this torture !

How much training support do you give your website hosting support staff? Half a day? I spoke to them twice and both tech support people I spoke to did not even know what a mail server is. What an absolute disgrace.

Crazydomains have a very good help area and have quickly fixed a number of errors which I had made. The host speed is noticeably slower than some other hosts but the startup price is very low. I guess you get what you pay for. Like most things you have to do your sums. Other hosts which are generally dearer include more things like SSL where with Crazydomains you pay extra for SSL. Overall the hosting is good for a personal website. For anything business related I'd spend a bit more and get faster hosting.

Too many phone calls reminding me that something is due in 6, 4, 3, weeks. 7 days notice is more than enough for me. But I am receiving up to 3 phone calls a day, some when my mother died, during her funeral, during my holiday. Plus emails. Plus phone messages. Sometimes 3 phone calls within an hour. Please just remind us 7-14 days out. Emails are enough. 7-21 days notice is more than enough and only ONE phone call a week.

However, during the process the techs - and that's why they're there, after all - used tech-talk which I didn't understand at all. I had to ask an IT friend to help. I don't think they deserve 1 star based on the customer service they provided to me. they have prompted customer service but there is no consistency. as my case I decided to go through them, after i paid $500 AUD and other extra costs apart from what they promote on their website. i got stuck in the establishing my website which i needed some help to make it looks better and they required me to get support to design the website which is hundreds dollars more and the policy is ridiculous like in a trap that I can not get any refund if my website started to establish when i contact them by email. ok but I know that My website was not even 5% ready to be on google or other browser and when I looked up on Google, I can not even find my own website that said it is established. I sent them emails again for my refund because I knew there is something wrong here and they looked up my account and told me that its been over 2 months so there is no way that i could get muy refund back. if it was before 2 months from the day i established, I would get my full refund back. I just thought that is too great to serve me this way. I do not want everyone there that just starts to create their own website waste their money like me. PLEASE BE AWARE. you can start building your own website on WIX.COM that is what I am doing now. Good luck.

Crazy Domains is terrific. I use them for several websites, and their tech support is always fast and efficient. They are great at customer service, and always try to go the extra mile. When I have had issues with any of my websites they try to resolve it straightaway, and if that is not possible they will call me back and keep working at it until the problem is resolved. We lost web hosting data and files at Crazy Domains currently . website installed and backup with drupal original on the HOST 10 years ago. Now it lost totally 10 years data and files.
The customer service replied that they have to delete all of data and files because of security risks. But Crazy Domains refuse to provide evidence even any notice before to delete web.

Utterly useless service.
Every month there is a problem with my email.
Every month I call them and they have me change the settings back to the ones there were on the month before. And so it continues.
They blame Outlook for not connecting to their service correctly - and encourage Businesses to use Webmail - which I don't need to explain the ridiculousness of this statement.
Go somewhere else - these guys have no idea and their customer service is utterly diabolical with no escalation process.
Prepare to be frustrated beyond your worst nightmares.

I recently purchased Virtual Server from them. It took 3 days to set it up for me and make it up and running. During this three days, I have contacted many times to customer service, and every time someone replied by saying be patient. the process takes 24 hours!! After 72 hours, they could manage to make it working.

The other experience I got with them was purchasing a windows hosting service for ASPX. On the product page said it support crystal report, so I purchased it. When I was setting up my website, I found out that the CR is not working. I contacted the custom service, and they said you need to purchase another product as well which would cost me about $70 a month.

Their service is really poor.

I have hosted sites on Crazy Domain servers for over ten years. Some belong to community organisations and my own is an ebusiness with 100,000 files. There has never been any problem except with my own site which has complicated third-party software installed. I have always received outstanding service. Whenever there has been an glitch or loss of data the site has been diagnosed, restored and back running quickly with the service staff efficient, helpful and eager to support me. I am very frustrated with their server response speeds. I’m on a shared IP address with 500 other sites which ordinarily wouldn’t be a problem but...it is. My SEO guy and developer are going crazy with response of their servers and are urging me to shift sooner rather than later. When I’ve contacted, customer service agents have been polite and friendly and acknowledge there’s server speed issues. I feel somewhat frustrated and not able to get anywhere with Crazy Domains. I can’t run a slow responsive website. I’ve paid a lot now for optimisation only to find that I can’t get above 6sec because of the server issues. Not good enough

Like Others have said, the most painful customer service I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with.
I've been dealing with the revolving door and had no less than 6 people try to solve a $28 issue. Not only are all inept and don't know their project, they simply use emails distraction as a way of wearing you down. Just avoid them... I am leaving asap.

What I like about crazy domains is the quality of the service I get every time I need to change something with regards to my domain name/website...Before I know it I get either somebody who walks me through on the phone, sometimes they even do it for me, as a curtesy. We had a really wonderful experience working with the team at Crazy Domains, and in particular Chrys. We have a new business, and have never completed website design before but the page turned out even better than we'd hoped. Chrys was really collaborative in helping adjust the page to suit our needs, and really patient when we kept changing our minds. Overall, it was easy to use, with great online support and they've taught us what we need to know to maintain the page ourselves. I would absolutely recommend their services to anyone looking to create a website.

I am please to say that after my initial comment about Crazy Domains, Cathy, the Online Review Manager called to not only apologise for my negative experience with Crazy Domains technical department and spam matter, Cathy called also to remedy my challenges. Cathy's call assured me and her action has restored my faith in Crazy Domains. I have had my email address and URL since 2005, previously it was hosted by Blue Central and subsequently Google. Whilst it was there I had not received spam or junk emails. however I moved my URL and email address to Crazy Domains I was receiving 15 to 20 spam per day...everyday, when I rang your technical to complain, I was informed that they will increase the protector. I would ring the technical department at least 5 times and each time I am informed they will increase the protector, finally after about 6 weeks of same amount of spam and junk mail your technician said that I had subscribed to those spam and junk emails, however if I wanted to stop them I can pay $30 to increase mail box protection. I informed that technician that I have had the email address since 2005 and NEVER had such challenge before moving it to Crazy Domains, I informed him that I believe Crazy Domains has either sold my information to third party or allowed third party to access my data so that Crazy Domains can sell me more products. that is why the cost to move to Crazy Domains are cheaper.

My wife and I started with purchasing domain names with Crazy Domains for our businesses many years ago. We had already purchased a website building and hosting package at that stage, for several websites to be built and hosted. We were new to owning and operating websites. After we learned more about building and operating websites, we were unhappy with the template structure and lack of flexibility with the sites and also the reduction in support for our sites and the package. So we decided that since Crazy Domains had been so good to us with our domains, including getting real help and support by a friendly team who always sounded happy, we would transfer our hosting to Crazy Domains as see how things went. Straight away we knew we had made a great choice. They helped with transfers of domains, gave us a very reasonably priced hosting package for our sites, sorted our SSL, and helped out amazingly when one of our sites crashed due to my error. They got our site back up and running and also helped a little further with offering great options and knowledge to help me understand some of the pitfalls to avoid when operating a website. We have also always had followup emails to make sure things were OK and that we were happy with the support we received. Crazy Domains have been great for us and we highly recommend them for your total internet hosting requirements.

Crazy domain charges less than half of what Netregistry charges. Have considered godaddy, if only office 365 doesn't forced to use their terrible dns management. Move all my domains to crazy domain, so far so good.

The service is quite good when it is working. It's when there's a technical problem it becomes so frustrating to get a decent solution. It almost seems like the folks in their support department are not trained properly yet they pretend to be experts by making up "solutions", or they blame your computer or the server. Eventually, when the issues are finally resolved (after almost a week of calling and emailing their support department - each time with another "expert" who will come up with another "solution") , they realise that these issues have been caused by a flaw in their system.
