They don't issue refunds on domain registration when their registrar does. They throw you off say it's up to the registrar and once payment is proceed nothing can be done which is not true. Contacted the registrar and they said they will issue refunds up to 3 days to Crazy Domains!! so they are not abiding by Australia Consumer law and just keep your money.

I will not be renewing my subscription! I was lied to - they told me I was getting a new upgraded, migrated product. I paid $380 for a template that isn't migrated & which they cant publish because the shop is from an independent company. The old system they are using doesn't accept the newer shop platform so what I am stuck with is 2 pieces of shit that don't speak to one another. I have asked time & time again to speak with a manager but they dont listen to me. They keep sending me generic emails which are very insulting. I went with Crazy Domains as they had 24 hour support. I should of gone with Wix & will be going there next time for sure. This is a huge waist of money & time- I give them a below zero star for effort as they lie & ignore & don't keep their word. Plus their software is ancient compared to Wix but they still charge you a fortune - which I don't mind paying but the product as to be up to standard...

Their services is shocking!!!!! Crazy domains is quick to take your money, but not quick to resolve issues and there operators have an attitude problem.

They wanted my user name and password, yet they have no policy in place for this information. When I asked to speak to a manager the operator said "Why" and another said "their on a break and to busy to come to the phone".

It has been 3 days an my issue has still not been resolved and all they keep saying is we will raise it with our system administrator.

To be honest I would much rather get pocked in the eyes with a hot poker than have to keep dealing with the sales assistance who act as though they know what they are doing but can't resolve anything.

If you have a business... Then Seriously, DO NOT USE CRAZY DOMAINS !!!
If you NEED you emails... Then Seriously, DO NOT USE CRAZY DOMAINS !!!
Save your TIME, MONEY, and EFFORTS on long calls on the phone - With No Results.
You will be given generic answers when you cannot retrieve your emails (As a result of their own internal server issues).
I didn't listen to others and learnt the hard way.
PLEASE Do Not Put Yourself through this torture !
Go Elsewhere and Good Luck

How much training support do you give your website hosting support staff? Half a day? I spoke to them twice and both tech support people I spoke to did not even know what a mail server is. What an absolute disgrace.

NOT impressed...firstly they advertise free domain transfer only to find that they don't transfer .com for free at all and IT IS NOT IN THEIR TERMS AND CONDITIONS..Secondly there have been several issues getting my domain to work even though I have had it redirected from another company...it's been a week and all they can offer is arrange the transfer myself...still

I don't think they deserve 1 star based on the customer service they provided to me. they have prompted customer service but there is no consistency. as my case I decided to go through them, after i paid $500 AUD and other extra costs apart from what they promote on their website. i got stuck in the establishing my website which i needed some help to make it looks better and they required me to get support to design the website which is hundreds dollars more and the policy is ridiculous like in a trap that I can not get any refund if my website started to establish when i contact them by email. ok but I know that My website was not even 5% ready to be on google or other browser and when I looked up on Google, I can not even find my own website that said it is established. I sent them emails again for my refund because I knew there is something wrong here and they looked up my account and told me that its been over 2 months so there is no way that i could get muy refund back. if it was before 2 months from the day i established, I would get my full refund back. I just thought that is too great to serve me this way. I do not want everyone there that just starts to create their own website waste their money like me. PLEASE BE AWARE. you can start building your own website on WIX.COM that is what I am doing now. Good luck.

We lost web hosting data and files at Crazy Domains currently . website installed and backup with drupal original on the HOST 10 years ago. Now it lost totally 10 years data and files.
The customer service replied that they have to delete all of data and files because of security risks. But Crazy Domains refuse to provide evidence even any notice before to delete web.

Utterly useless service.
Every month there is a problem with my email.
Every month I call them and they have me change the settings back to the ones there were on the month before. And so it continues.
They blame Outlook for not connecting to their service correctly - and encourage Businesses to use Webmail - which I don't need to explain the ridiculousness of this statement.
Go somewhere else - these guys have no idea and their customer service is utterly diabolical with no escalation process.
Prepare to be frustrated beyond your worst nightmares.

I recently purchased Virtual Server from them. It took 3 days to set it up for me and make it up and running. During this three days, I have contacted many times to customer service, and every time someone replied by saying be patient. the process takes 24 hours!! After 72 hours, they could manage to make it working.

The other experience I got with them was purchasing a windows hosting service for ASPX. On the product page said it support crystal report, so I purchased it. When I was setting up my website, I found out that the CR is not working. I contacted the custom service, and they said you need to purchase another product as well which would cost me about $70 a month.

Their service is really poor.

Like Others have said, the most painful customer service I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with.
I've been dealing with the revolving door and had no less than 6 people try to solve a $28 issue. Not only are all inept and don't know their project, they simply use emails distraction as a way of wearing you down. Just avoid them... I am leaving asap.

It is very unfortunate that I have to write such a poor review. After having email problems over the past 6 months and each time talking to their tech team, and feeling like i'm on a merry-go-round I've decided to give up and move on. The most recent case I was transferred to 4 different people in 24 hours and needed to go over and explain each time what was happening. And go thru the same steps to try and fix the problem. It drove me nuts!!! And it was never resolved..

Was thinking of signing up with Sitebeat but couldn't log in with my registration. Which was an alarming sign to start with.

Once I asked them to delete my registration so I can reregister again without issues it turned out that's a super special of an issue requiring a specialist. WTF??
This again was just not a too promising sign that you cant easily unregister your personal details from a service/site you no longer wish to use.
These days websites normally give you the unsuscribe option with a click of a button. Hmm I am not too sure anymore.. but reading through the comments I might as well look for a different domain provider.

However, as mandated by the Internet Corporation of Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) they require all accredited registrars to publish the registrant's contact information, domain creation and expiration dates and other information in the global WhoIs database as soon as a domain is registered.

Who can view your information?

Everyone can see your information. The name, address and phone number you submitted when you registered your domain is publicly accessible by anyone at any time. While it is possible to hide personal information on WHOIS for some domain extensions. It is not permitted when you register .com.au or any other .au domain names. The practise is expressly prohibited in the auDA's (the body overseeing the .au name space) WHOIS Policy (2010-06) and Registrant Contact Information Policy (2010-07).

The absolute worst customer service I have ever had. Do not what ever you do use this comapny. They are untrained and unreliable. Staff are unqualified to give out the information needed. They overcharge and for products i did not need and months later I am still waiting for a refund of $400. They assured me several times during my 29 phone calls that money would be in my account. Only to call back days laterto to say it wasnt even processed. The never call back when they make times to call and took twice as long as they shoukd have to restore my service . We are a registered charity and dealing with crazy domains cost us thousands trying to just get out website renewed. Appalling and unethical company.

Run away. This company is terrible. No service, website designed to mislead and rip you off, provides very misleading information, takes your money and then demands more money to make work what they sold you. An absolute scam and rip off.

Terrible service. Emails sent to my main email address hosted by Crazy bounce back to the sender. For 5 weeks l have been trying to have this issued solved and they now ignore me! Their communication is shocking, do not set up your emails with Crazy Domains!

I have had ongoing issues with very slow email. On the phone to the support desk was a real opener. The support person asked me for my email password so he could have a look. I couldn't believe it. Of course I did not give him the pw. And, because he couldn't replicate the issue he refused to create a ticket or investigate further. I now have to phone again snd hopefully get a more helpful person

Avoid Crazy Domains...Run!

Crazy Domains is a lost cause as far as I am concerned. I have had multiple issues with them over the years.

The latest issue is that scripts have mysteriously stopped working on my websites. Upon banging my head against a brick wall with their so-called "help desk", I was advised that scripts were no longer covered by the help desk and that I needed to contact "Advanced Support". No worries I said.

So I start typing my message into the Advanced Support contact form, and to my surprise, they want a minimum of $99 to look at the issue! Lets bear in mind that scripts were working perfectly fine 6 months ago on my site. (I was driven mad by the amount of bot messages I was receiving on a daily basis - thus I was driven here by Crazy Domains.)

Case 2: About 6-8 weeks ago, calls to my business dried up for a couple of weeks. When trying to establish why business was slow, I decided to investigate whether or not I should update my website. To my horror - ALL my hosted websites were offline! When I contacted Crazy Domains to ask why, they simply fixed the issue without giving me an explanation, NOR an apology.

I currently have 8 registered domains with Crazy Domains and 6 under hosting. It is time for me to pull the lot of them, and I can only assume, this will end up being the most difficult period of my life.

Avoid CRAZY DOMAINS!!

Transfer out domain is super difficult and purposely delayed. Allow 30 days would be a good time frame. The DNS is pretty basic if you want extras please pay for it. I am transferring out all my domains from them.

Crazy Domains migrated my hosting account which has 2 websites and our client databases. They did so without my knowledge 2 days before our automated payments were due to come out (wordpress / woocommerce subscriptions). We had fatal errors for 3 days once it was up the payments would not process the $10,000 money that we were waiting to be processed. Also the "orders" that were listed to be processed were from 2 months ago. As it stands we are on day 5 and still unable to process any money or get into one of our sites. The response from Crazy Domains is "we are putting it to our administration support team to look at". That was after 3 days of them suggesting that there was a problem with our browser. The 1 star is because at the very minimum they do have phone support available.

Saw they offer Windows hosting. Saw they have servers in the US. Signed up for what I thought was US-based Windows hosting, but it turned out to be overseas Linux hosting. My fault, probably. Tried to cancel, they won't refund. Stay away. Find someone else that believes in their service enough to offer a money back guarantee.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!
Abysmal company that is best suited to masochists! If you like deceptive practices, untruthful staff and absolutely no responsive or ethical Customer Service just to mention some immediate issues, this just might be for you.
Our experiences?- The direct online Customer Support chat line address is blatantly false. It directs all communication to a dead site. The Customer Support phone number provided
always rings out- not even a recorded message is available. Customer Support operates as an adversarial game. Staff will lie to you about what has been done and you will never get a refund even when a service is not being provided. From what we experienced, they do not seem to have any concerns about their reputation or operating ethically despite their advertised "caring" company publicity.
Crazy Domains is very well named. Only cheap in terms of setting up costs. In every other way you will pay. You have been warned. I have given one star because it is not possible to give less. They richly deserve their appallingly low rating rating.

Used to be decent but...

After years of being their customer I have managed to run away from them in almost all my projects and I have started to seriously warn clients and other devs and designers to not contract them for aaaany service they might think of.

I still have some products with them (already paid obviously as I would never renew them).

Uptime is a total joke and actually doubt it reaches more than 95%. For some of my client websites and servers, service is down an average of twice a month for some hours at least. It is a disaster.

I have seen worse speeds in other providers though.

And customer care... eeeeh... can that thing even call like that when dealing with them? Be ready for a slow, rude and not technically saavy team waiting for you when support time comes up. It is an utter joke.

Not even worth 1 star!
Their website builder is terrible! It was meant to be free.. But they kept reverting it to a button that lead to a page wanting payment details. I called to complain and they fixed it telling me I now had access to the whole version for 6mths. 2mths later I tried to access my site when I tried to link it on fb and it wouldn't work. This is how I discovered my site wasn't even operating anymore!! I called them and they told me they upgraded their servers and can not retrieve the work I had done. But offered me 3mths of their paid version. Then at 10pm at night call me to tell me that in order to access this they would need to cancel my email which I paid for but they would "migrate" it.. Then after 3mths I would then need to pay more $$ to keep both?!? What the?? I said don't worry about your website building I will take my business elsewhere but make sure I don't loose my emails. I get off the phone and my email is asking me for a password and won't work any more!!!! This is beyond ridiculous and unacceptable since I have paid for 3yrs of email hosting!!!
The only reason I went with this company is because I Thought they were Australian but they are clearly not!! Misleading! Deceptive, untrustworthy and just plain terrible!!!
Will never use again!!!!

Read this BEFORE considering Crazy Domains.

The promise

When contacting Crazy Domains regarding a VPS Solution I was promised outstanding service, the best price, a money back guarantee and 99.9% uptime.

Reality

After paying over $3000 for the full solution I found there was NO improvement in my website performance as proven through GT Metrix monitoring. I experienced endless issues with my email client (outlook and apple email) not being able to connect to the VPS server resulting in me spending tens of ours on the phone with Crazy Domains technical support who are unresponsive, do not call back when they promised and took months to resolve the issue. The issue resulted in lost emails, delayed emails and missed sales opportunities. Finally when the emails were fixed (after they “identified the issue” my whole website stopped working….I paid my developers to work 24 hours trying to identify the issue, after three days of my website being unable to take any orders (an ecommerce website without any checkout facility) my developers identified that the Crazy Domains server team had gone in and changed the PHP version without seeking permission or instruction. This outage caused reputational damage, lost sales and cost me $1000s in developers costs to identify and resolve.

As a business I cannot rely on an unstable and poorly run server provider so I closed everything and transferred to another provider. A first Crazy Domains refused any refund, then offered a four month credit, then a 1 year credit and finally a 50% refund. They stated if I wanted a full refund I’d have to take legal action. The crazy domains product is inferior, slow, unreliable and the customer service is a disgrace. If you care about your clients, your businesses reputation and your sanity don’t even consider this company. 1 out of 5 stars. I will be seeking a full refund as Crazy Domains marketing is deceptive and misleading and they did not deliver the product I purchased. Legal proceedings in progress. The web is FULL of terrible reviews for this company and for good reason.

I have been informed that Crazy Domains is operating out of the United Arab Emirates with a registered Australian website domain and an Australian postal address. The jurisdiction of the Fair Trading Office is only state based and therefore don't have authority either outside the state of New South Wales or outside Australia. BEWARE!!!

Don't go with this hosting provider. I had a bad experience with this company. The support team is not professional. I booked one domain through crazydomains once the payment is done in my dashboard the domain was showing not active after that i contact with support team they are asking me sent your debit card no and one copy id proof for verification. I just lost my money. Don't go with them.

Worse experience of my life with this company.
Bought a domain name a year of hosting and emails with package 10 days ago.
Tried to set up email would not work, after 5 emails sent with 5 different people replying who each one sent me a standard cut and paste on how to. They never bothered to read whole emails. Finally found out that they had directed my op address in wrong direction. Said would take up to 4 hours. 3 days later and lots of cut and paste emails back still no fix. I then started ringing and asked to cancel everything as there support was not what I needed for my new company. Guess what sorry as I bought a package no refund and along with the email came another cut and paste on how to set up and email. Worst nightmare I have had to deal with this company
PS I am not stupid with computers as I have a successful online company and I look after that website. I know what I am doing so very frustrating with crazy domains

In the last 12 months, every month or so I'm not able to send e.mails. Spent countless hours with their customer service that apparently didn't understand the reason of the problem. In 2 occasions have been told that they moved to another server but the issues always re appears. Changes of password without any notice, unable to login to my Hosting manager. Terrible

This company stole money from my credit card and they are still trying to make every excuse not to pay it back.
Never do business with this mob as they will use your details to rob you.
They told me they could not process the order, I said ok ill take my business somewhere else, 10 hours later (I did not give them my expiry or ccv number) they somehow processed my account for the full amount.
Beware.

I never keep all of my eggs in one basket so I started to hand-reg a few domains when these guys were starting 2010 or when ever it was, before they moved their operation out of Australia to Dubai.

In all fairness they have been able to resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently and communication has been fine.

Here is the tipping point. I went to renew a .property domain two days ago, friday for $50, I thought I'll do it on Sunday while I'm having a beer or three. So, I log on and go to renew my domain and suddenly they want $172.

A $122 price increase in just two days.

It is going to cost me a small fortune to move my 20 plus domains over to NameBright.com but that was the first and only straw that broke this Camel's back.

I must give zero star to crazy. One of my big mistakes in life was that I purchased VPS from crazy domains without reading reviews and other customer thoughts. Server down, down down thrice in the week. Database connectivity errors. My websites ranking affected badly due to these reviews.
Today I decided to post this review. I put my all my websites on Clouldflare and their rubbish support team said, you are not Hosted with us. What a bullshit answer to my query that you are not with us. Spending $6000 and you are not with us. Worse ever service. All my websites showing DB issue. I can't imagine more than worse ever support from any Hosting in the world.

My experience with them was awful. We had so many issues with them, their support team is very inexperienced, they lost ALL my sent times while we were migrating the servers, our website having been working from multiple locations worldwide and we lost quite a bit of business because of that and had many unhappy clients!

They are offering a "free .asia domain" but what they won't tell you is that you'll need to pay before you can change nameservers - which makes everything basically useless. Normally I would just pay for the .asia domain, but I won't work with anyone who works in a scammy way. If it's not free, just say it outright instead of masking it as "free".

Don't trust Crazy Domains with their scam promotions.

Simply the worst customer service I have ever seen in my entire life. It seems that all companies I have dealt with in the past year, including Telstra , Crazy Domains and others , that are using Phillipines based call centres , have reached the rock bottom standard in customer service. I hate to say it, but the people you have to deal with are simply retards. No other way to describe it.

I have wasted hours upon hours dealing crazy domains and Telstra. I have never been so frustrated in my entire life. The Phillipino customer service girls have driven my business into the ground. The most stupid people on the planet Mother Earth and possibly the universe also, and that's being nice. Hope that when aliens first visit us they don't land in the Phillipines , it will be an embarrassing first contact , I can tell you. Perhaps China can invade that countr give them some brain DNA, and thus Telstra and Crazy Domains may have some improvements.

I can't afford to waste anymore time with Crazy domains, my email is smashed with SPAM, and that's after signing up to so called special email protection and they said they had activated spam protection on the server. I also previously lost hundreds of business e-mails when they bungled my transition from pop3 to IMAP. I simply am too tired to try and deal with them anymore, I give up. Time to move on from this nightmare. Don't ever join this MOB , it's a Joke of jokes, pathetic . Telstra are equally a pathetic company that hopefully will also get taken over by a multinational corporations one day. My time is gone , lost productivity can't be recovered , this is a dummy spat. ??

I hope this post will serve as a warning to anyone looking for a web hosting company.

I have had web hosting with crazy domains.com.au for quite a few years and had two business sites with them.

Suddenly my email stopped working and I rang customer care to check if the service was down. To my surprise I was told that my web hosting had expired and that all my SITES AND EMAIL HAD BEEN PERMANENTLY DELETED.

THIS WAS WITHOUT WARNING AND WITHOUT A RENEWAL NOTIFICATION BEING SENT.

What was worse the customer care could not seem to care less about the fact that my business had just been deleted.

This is the response from Crescel at customer care on 28/12/16

"I have checked your email notifications but no emails were sent for the renewal. We deeply apologise for the inconvenience. I have reported this to our administrators."

"We understand you Andy but as mentioned above, all files and emails were already deleted. Once files are deleted on the server we can no longer restore it."

I'm not quite sure what company does not send a renewal notice to their customers.

So all the hours of creating a online business are lost as is the income etc. Crazy Domains have destroyed my business.

I would NOT RECOMMEND crazy domains.com.au to anyone with a online business that needs web hosting as it could be deleted at anytime. The companies ethics and empathy towards their customers is utterly disgraceful.

Abysmal service / reliability. Zero Stars really.
Over the last 18 months my Crazy Domains Outgoing server IP is recognized as 'potential spam' by several ISP's (AOL, Verizon). Many of my outgoing Emails are rejected / blocked and fail to be delivered.
Recently I/C Emails to me also started failing, again Crazy Domains Incoming server IP is recognized as potential spam address by AOL, Verizon, and now I am guessing recently Bigpond.
This makes my Email address on my Domain hosted by Crazy Domains pretty close to useless.
Ongoing requests (over 12 month period) seem to fix things in the short term but the same problem continues to re-appear and different problems emerge. The service is now unworkable and I have to move to a different ISP / Domain host.

My email has been down, week on week on week for the past 3 months. Your social media reps are extremely incompetent and don't care to try and fix the issue.

They have tried to self diagnose with no expertise, palming off my complaints and using reasoning which isn't even accurate.

MF (social media contact) has been extremely unprofessional, unresponsive and has downright lied. This has cost me over 30 hours in email downtime in the last 3 months (this is during work-time) They offer no compensation, no empathy and little to no help .

One star, as this is the lowest rating available. Simple rule is just do not use them.
They continually want to up sell when they cannot deliver the product that was originally offered, then continually ring to get you to spend more with them.
I think the greatest concern is that they are not worried when advised of the many dissatisfied customers out there and the fact that you have referred it to the ombudsman.

They don't even deserve one star!

They were very eager to please when i was a potential client. Once i paid, they provided the worst customer service ever.

I can't believe how unprofessional and dodgy #CrazyDomains has been with me throughout my attempt to get a refund.

I have been sent on a repetitive merry go ride with your customer service. The Customer Care team have been poor with delivering any kind of service since purchase or follow up with the phone call they promised they had promised. Every time they say they will get back to me they never fulfil their end of the bargain and when they do it is an automated email which does not answer my query and not a phone call (when they had promised to call back).

It is even more infuriating that when they tell you to call back at a certain time but the person you are to speak to is conveniently unavailable.

Then there is the #falseadvertisement of #MoneyBackGuarantee since you refuse to acknowledge it!

Even when speaking to some of these people they had the hide to raise their voice during the phone call and they just repeat themselves over and over (as if they are reading a script).

To all those people be very wary of this company asking for money is like draining blood from a stone!

Don't ever, ever use this company, and ESPECIALLY never get an SSL certificate from them. As someone else mentioned, they will only accept an '[email protected]' email address. A pain if you don't use that, but ok. Then once you've set that up, they'll drip feed you requests of authentication every 48 hours. So you just get done sending all your business partners ID documents. Great. Then 2 days later they want proof of your address. Done. Then 2 days later, something else. None of these things are unreasonable particularly but I asked and asked just for a LIST so I could get everything done. Each time I was told it was the last piece they needed. But the worst bit is now, two years later, the certificate is up for renewal. They started sending me reminders 3 months prior to the due date, every week. I ended up paying it early just to stop the reminders. That was two weeks ago, (it was due a week ago). As of 48 hours ago my website is down with a giant red sign saying it is not secure and customers should NOT proceed. And NOW, they're asking for all that ID verification stuff I provided 2 years ago. I've provided everything they've asked for so far, but lo, another request for another form has just come though, which will take another 48 hours to process. Please, don't let this review writing time go to waste. Just keep looking for something else. They're the worst. Even before all this SSL stuff happened, the hosting was so bad our email and website were/are down so frequently that I know their customer service phone number off by heart.

You get what you pay for. Poor products and service (Technical Support and Customer). Crazy Domains is a business driven by greed to get the unknowing inexperienced customer buying initial services and then the add on products start that is either not needed or technically cannot be supported by their inexperienced staff. If you want to know all about web development, go with Crazy Domains as you will know all about web, email, booster etc. design and associated ad on products once you finished resolving your issues over months and cancelling your service, losing all monies paid by you.
Better, just go with professionals like "Go Daddy" or "Wix" at a fraction of the cost, 100% more advanced features, professional experienced people and focus on running your business.

They'll suck you in with a cheap upfront price and then nickel and dime you for all sorts of minor services. Other Domain name resellers don't charge for simple tools that Crazy Domains want to charge for.

Absolutely terrible service overall, You'll regret every moment. They don't care about customers unfortunately all they care about Is money, Look elsewhere! This company Is a scam as you can't back out of their services and obtain a refund even after you feel that this service Is not suitable for your requirements.

BEWARE THE CON!!! I registered my interest with Crazy Domains for an upcoming domain, ending with .online. A little while later they emailed me saying the domain was now available for me to register. It actually said "DOMAIN NOW AVAILABLE, register your new domain now. with a BUY NOW button. So I promptly paid my $19.99 and registered the domain name. OR SO I THOUGHT. A few days later I logged on to Crazy Domains in order to configure my site, only to be greeted with a message that my site was on BACK ORDER. This is not what I wanted at all, so I phoned them and explained the problem. The very rude guy on the phone said somebody else had the domain name I wanted, so they put it on back order for me. I told him I was ready to set the site up and that I had ORDERED the domain name and not a back order. He told me that was hard luck. I asked him to cancel my order and he said he would but there was NO REFUND. I asked to speak to a supervisor but he said he didn't have one!!! So I have know lodged a dispute with PayPal (with whom I paid) and am awaiting the results of that. My advice STAY AWAY FROM CRAZY DOMAINS, THEY ARE RIP OFF MERCHANTS!

I sincerely hope that I never have the displeasure of dealing with CrazyDomains again.
Not only did they remove support and features from my plan without communication, which ultimately led to data loss, they also suspended my account without warning.
Even cancelling my account and requesting a refund was a nightmare.

HIDDEN FEES

I just wanted to warn friends about a trick that www.crazydomains.com.au do in order to extort more money from you.

Crazy domains seems cheap but after you purchase a domain name for your website you are then required to pay an extra $20.00 in order to use the domain.

They only tell you this after your initial purchase and there is no refund!

After tolerating their appalling service for a few years (the staff are nice enough but there are only about two of them answering calls), I am getting as far away from them as possible. I wish I read the reviews prior to joining as I would have made a different choice as the 'bad taste' from them seems to be unanimous.

I've used them for a couple of years now, and I have previously tolerated their continual down-time. However, we decided to set up eCommerce on one of our websites and applied for and paid for a SSL certificate. The website says "takes 24 hours to set up". That's OK, but then after you pay, a little sign that pops up when you put the mouse over the SSL data says "Can take up to 48 hours to set up". Anyway, six days later nothing. Then (after more emails) you need to set up "an admin email" to receive verification. Then after more emails they tell me the SSL certificate has been set up and certified. Only it hasn't. Then after an apology, some advice that the SSL certificate has actually been set up. Only it hasn't. It doesn't matter if I use http or https as the prefix, I just get a SORRY please send a screenshot of this page to your webmaster. message. So here I am, no email, no website, no customers, Still waiting on a reply to my request to fix the site. Utter crap.

I had no problems with them for 5 years whilst I was on a shared server. Then one day they suddenly took my site down without telling me because I had over 100,000 files on it. I rang them and they put it back immediately and then said I had to move to a virtual server ($580/year) which I did. It was then that my problems started. I couldn't get help at all to get it going. All they said was use Google or get a local expert to help you - with THEIR PROBLEMS!!! I have just paid $99 to get special help but I suspect it is good money after bad.

Customer service is non-existent. I feel very stupid and unlucky for choosing them as a host. '24/7 web hosting and customer support' is an outright LIE. They're lucky they haven't been hit with a class-action yet. My website has been down every week for 3 weeks. It's like they switch off their servers every weekend for 2-3 days. This is complete BS. I'm in the process of going through an ombudsman to get my money back for hosting as their customer service/mgmt departments are evidently run by monkeys and automated phonelines.

I have been trying for Over 2 weeks to get my Email Exchange working and personal emails from them which I paid for. After 5 New User Names and Passwords it appears it still does not work. There are many more people out there who have the same problems. I have tried calling them Numerous times and have not yet after hours of being put on hold been able to speak to there so called Customer Services. This is a poor site stay clear!
