Monday, October 12, 2020 #83393 Jesse from Clean Energy Social (2 - 10 Employees) We did a trial of Crowdstack and planned on using the service. Unfortunately, their pricing model is way too inflexible. Their Foundation plan had nearly everything we were looking for, except that we also required the custom wording feature, as Crowdstack uses some terminology on their pages that we wouldn't use. The Foundation plan was $399/mo and when we got a custom quote for the Complete plan, it was going to be $999/mo. So, we would have had to pay $600 more per month just for the custom wording feature, since we didn't require any of the other features in the Complete plan. When we offered to pay a little more for the custom wording feature (to be honest, most of their competitors have thrown in features like this for free to entice us to sign up), Crowdstack repeatedly said it wasn't possible. First, from a sales perspective, what company would ever build a sales model that is so rigid? Second, what company can throw away $5,000 in annual revenue, especially when the request from a potential client is pretty reasonable? Selling long-term subscriptions, as Crowdstack does, requires partnerships with clients...not sticking to rigid policies that don't make any sense. It's unfortunate...this could have been a good company...big down vote for me.
