Nonprofit fundraisers and development leaders have a tough job. Often, they are solely responsible for raising money to fund the cause. But should they be? Given the importance of fundraising, shouldn't every member of the organization, and even the board!, get involved? We believe the Development Team should be strategists--the ones who own the fundraising strategy while helping and guiding their colleagues, leadership team, and passionate supporters to raise funds.
