I've been with Sage/Encore for a number of years as our payroll provider. The only heads-up I received that Sage was purchased by iSolved was being locked out of our payroll platform--on a payroll submission day at that! Since that time I have had nothing but excuses from the project managers with iSolved dealing with the migration into iSolved. I've heard everything from jury duty time off to grandchildren being born. I'm happy folks are doing their civic duty and also having happy personal moments, but that is not at all any issue or concern with me when I have employees to pay. iSolved has repeatedly dropped the ball on this one. Horrible customer service, terrible communication (I actually found out more about iSolved from Google than from them), and utter incompetence with taking on existing clients from a buy out.

They are the WORST payroll company I have ever dealt with and I have had experience with quite a few. You cannot reach upper management and I would presume the way they are now handling my account, that upper management wouldn't respond anway. I had someone that did the "transitions" and then subsequent screw ups with the next 2-3 payrolls. Still after more than several payrolls the "team" that is suppose to get my spreadsheet can't receive it, only one person in their company can! Hope she doesn't go on vacation otherwise my employees won't get paid, I guess?

The additional services through Infinisource and FMLA administration are useful for a small HR team.
