Save yourself from using this company. The program is loaded with glitches. Guaranteed you will find nothing but problems whether with payroll, insurance sign up, and their New dashboard (Z2) is absolutely useless. They list employees pictures and names before the actual areas that need to be managed day to day...such a waste, completely useless. There is absolutely Nothing positive that I can think of...I am seriously disappointed and if it was up to me I would have the company go back to ADP. I used them over the years (I help to start small businesses) and never had issues, if a payrun was forgotten or late by an hour they ALWAYS pulled through and ran it. Zenefits has a dead set cut-off time and absolutely will not grant not even if you are late by an hour! Completely not a business friendly service. Very upsetting to say the least.

Perfect for a small business wanting to start off their HR compliant and paperless. This software has saved me so much time, and has helped us get to a paperless environment. Zenefits isn't as 'personal' as an in-person agent, so I would say requires whoever is doing HR to be more knowledgeable about the insurance offerings (which they should be anyway IMO). It also requires employees to become a little more knowledgeable as well, rather than being spoon fed information every 6 months about "how insurance works." I would only recommend Zenefits in the instances where it integrates with Payroll. HR is now completely paperless Hiring and terminations are very easy Includes company org. chart Integrates with some payroll providers Compliance is a breeze Reporting is decent Only worth it if it integrates with your payroll provider (worth switching to one that does) Probably not great for very large companies Replaces your existing Broker (I guess this could go in the Pro column) Less hand holding during open enrollment period Do it if you meet the following criteria: Have or are willing to have a payroll that integrates Are a small or medium sized business Have a tech saavy or want a tech saavy employee base Have a desire to go paperless

Zenefits has taken the guess work out of onboarding and vacation/sick tracking. This program is not only free, but it's simple to use. It has taken the guess work out of vacation time and sick time. It has allowed our small company to make onboarding simple and painless with great record keeping. It is simple to use. The vacation and sick time tracking keeps the guess work out of this process. This allows new hires to submit their information and payment preferences (check or direct deposit) information in a secured way. I wish their payroll system would integrate better with Quickbooks Online. It integrates but only if there are no other payments (reimbursements, health care credits, etc). This forces me to utilize another program for this. This program has kept the new hire offer letters, onboarding, and time tracking simple and easy to use.

The products goals is really to allow employees to handle all HR related decisions online so that HR reps don't need to handle. Employees can enroll and terminate benefits, address changes, vacation requests all from their computer or mobile device. Also all offer letters and signing of electronic documents goes directly through zenefits. This is especially helpful for automatically getting all employees to sign your policy book, non solicitation etc. without needing any paper copies or scanning into a company database. You will be assigned an Account Manager who is very responsive and good. However a lot of more technical questions, like why is there an issue with an employees benefits, need to be handled by specialists that can take a good few days or more to get an answer with. Items that need to be looked into deeper do take a bit of time For a small HR department this software is great, really makes benefits administration and vacation requests a breeze and takes off HR. We also use their payroll which is surprisingly easy and effective. I think it is as good as many versions of ADP I've used and is lower cost.

As an HR system, we get most of functions within zenefits. it also helps managing and keeping employee savings details. We provide a couple policies to employees to have their savings. Zenefits calculate the savings for all people and reminds us on time when to provide them extra money to make their savings. If employees can also see their saving details and have a login to zenefit, that will be best. As of now, we as HR have logins and team does not have it. So having a guest user type will be best. The user management can be improved. Rest all works fine and is helpful for our company. We can manage all data in the required way and get reports out of this system.

"Zenefits helps with managing the attendance for my team. Everyday we mark the attendance using this software. In past we used to have manual paper system but now its all automated through zenefits solution. It also provides good reports which is used to manage pay for team base don their attendance data." I would like to have an export of all attendance data to excel document. it will help me sort any data and perform calculations over them. Attendance and time entries help understanding the availability of our team within office. It provides info on who is staying most in office and who stay less in office. Good solution.

Easy to use, pretty intuitive product with a great support team that deals with all the issues that arise with insurance brokers. As a hiring manager, hiring and onboarding is extremely easy and makes it so I don't have to worry about anything except obtaining i-9 documents on day 1. Every tool they have offer is very user friendly. Also, its FREE. Limited relationships as far as insurance brokers go but we were able to find something that worked for our company. Adding new documents/offer letters during the hiring process takes a few days which can slow down the process. Mobile app has very limited functionality. Account Managers can be hard to get a hold of some times and its easy to just go to the Support Team with questions. Take into consideration that this is a free product when comparing it to other, usually expensive, HRIS platforms. If you want all the bells and whistles, you'll pay for it but our company has been overall very happy with Zenefits.

This solution is cost effective and allows HR to have employee files, track PTO, push policy acknowledgements, etc. This is a very basic HR solution with minimal cost. There is little to no customer support, you will work with several individuals to resolve a single issue. High turnover in account managers or points of contact at Zenefits. The system has issues on both the HR user side and the employee side in terms of functionality. Reports and custom reports are hard to pull. Policies often lose their format when uploaded with a 72 hour upload time. Zenefits does not communicate with ADP. You cannot re-activate old hires or profiles in the system (interns, seasonal workers, etc). This has been a cost effective solution for us, but there have been may issues above. The cost (or lackthereof) is a huge benefit as a startup. If you have the budget to explore other options I would say definitely evaluate those.

The templates you upload require three days for processing, it is free, but still timely in case you are in a rush. Also if you do not like their templates you have to upload your own. Try to keep costs down and always ask the help line for help when you need it.

HR activity management is simplified using Zenefits Application. I worked on a number of HR apps but Zenefits specifically helps with managing employees data and related information. Zenefits could be called a CRM for employee information. It is easy to use and has simple UI. managing office resources will be helpful with Zenefits. Since we assign various resources (e.g. laptop, Phone etc.), so if we can keep this along with employee data within Zenefits, it will be best. Good software to use by HR people. Employee information can be managed well and used as needed.
