We had a client pay us through Avidxchange and they took a fee out. When I called to find out why they said the way we got paid had changed 3 years ago and because we were using ACH their was a fee associated with it. When I asked how it could have gotten changed they said it would have had to happen with us calling them. I then wanted to find out if we could manage our account and I was told that because we have 2 addresses on file that we were not eligible to manage our account online. When I asked if we could remove our company from their system they said that they couldn’t do that either. After reading other reviews it sounds like the only way to get paid by them is to incur a fee.

I had someone at avidxchange to call me in reference of making a payment to them I cleared the payment they lady never corrected the problem I have called on 3 different occasions to be told someone will reach out to me within 24 to 48 hrs to never receive a call back I even contacted one of the top managers in the company to be told she was going to get someone working on this right away to only have know return phone calls emails I am asking my client to find another way to pay me as avid pay are Un concerned over customer satisfaction I called Avidxchange in Charlotte & then the one in Utah trying to see if I could get a manager number & the same guy answered the phone it’s starting to make me wonder is this company in some kind of financial stress!!!! Today I am going to have my clients call to see if they can cancel payment & pay me some other kind of way stay clear of this company customer service is a mess!!!

We are a long time user of AvidXchange. I really like their invoice routing system. It has improved our routing and tracking of invoices - no more invoices lost on someone's desk and having access to all invoices with search criteria is great and also a big time saver. I'm scoring them low now because of two things. We tried their bill paying and it was more than frustrating. This is just a scheme for them to use your money for 60 plus days. Your vendors don't get paid on time and they contact your vendor directly and don't care about your relationship. We asked them on multiple occasions to not do that and to pay our vendors in the manner they suggested. We had several of our vendors tell us they were being "strong armed". Most recently they finally released an upgrade to the UI that we were promised for over 2 years. That new release has come with nothing but problems - it doesn't work, basic features don't function properly, and the system is unavailable for very long periods of time. We never get return phone calls and I've asked multiple times for a manager or someone of authority to talk with me about the issues we are having and no one has returned my phone calls for over a month now. We used to have a dedicated account rep, but, no longer. I don't think they want to hear the feedback. I would shy away from AvidXchange - they don't seem to care about the quality of their product or customer retention any longer.

Working with Avid has been a NIGHTMARE!! One of my vendors starting using them, and I am now receiving payments with NO notice, no invoice #'s....NOTHING!!! I have had to contact them 1/2 dozen times to find out what I am getting paid for!! I am EXTREMELY unhappy and frustrated!

AvidXchange is terrible if you are expecting to get payment on time. Payment to customers is always late. Not by just a few days either. Example, payment was due on February 2nd, 2019. It is now February 28th. This is not the first time. Then they have the audacity to have someone call you and say they can wire the money to your account today if you as the customer pay a fee. If cash flow was tight and you offered to pay us EARLY for a fee then it may be considered. But how dare you call after your payment is going on 4 weeks late and then you try to charge us to receive payment from you. I would select 0 stars if it was possible.

Avid Exchange has changed the way we do accounts payable. We were a very old school, paper driven company and now we have stepped our toe into the automated process world - it's wonderful! Avid is easy to use and has made our payables virtually paper free. We saved having to hire another paper processor by using Avid.

AVIDXchange has allowed us to virtually eliminate manual processing of invoices and bill payments. It has also allowed us to have real time numbers in relation to job and other costs. Our employees can access data and invoices online at anytime and from anywhere.

Avid has revolutionized our accounts payable function. From eliminating paper invoices, strengthening internal controls and increasing efficiency of processing invoices and vendor payments. And increased visibility to invoices and payments has made the annual audit process less of a pain, and improved our monthly close process. Avid should be on any Company’s short list that is considering accounts payable automation!

AvidXchange is a very good A/P platform. Approval and payment process works out great. While no system is perfect (i.e. indexing), Avid will certainly improve efficiencies and eliminate unnecessary paperwork in a modern work environment,

Aviidxchange has helped our accounting dept in so many ways. We have very little paper pushing, and we save time because the property managers can see everything that goes on with their properties invoices--and not have to call accounting to check on payments.

I have used Avid going on 7 years now. It is one of the best payable programs out there.
We were having a severe problem with late payments and lost invoices prior to Avid. One of the main reasons I chose this was the history tab. I had two different sides that managed 13 buildings. I would have to spend hours, coding and distributing invoices for approval to different managers. Invoices got lost or the managers got busy and then it would snowball. With Avid it cleared up all that.
I no longer had to do any of those things. And with the reports, I knew exactly who was holding up what.
The implementation was one of the easier programs I have done. Within 2 weeks we had most of the system up and running. The learning curve for my end users was very minimal and most caught on real quick.
I would highly recommend Avid for your AP needs.

AvidXChange has a lot of functionality to help automate various phases of your AP department. I really do love the platform. However, it does not interact with our ERP system (Viewpoint - Construction) so we have limited capability of the software. Never the less, I love having specifics uses of it's invoicing to maintain the routing of office and utility invoices for our company.

Our company has been using AvidXchange Invoice and Pay for over 3 years. the process has changed how our AP Department is now run. Instead of spending the day keying invoices in to our accounting software they are now managing the invoice process. They have more time to make sure our AP process is running more smoothly.

Avid has been a total game changer from when i started doing AP. I went from stacks and stacks of paper invoices to virtually no paper. Approvals are no longer held up due to the back and forth of paper invoices. I believe Avid make the whole AP process smoother and I would definitely recommend to any company.

I love how AVID has made my job soooo much easier. everything is at my fingertips, no lost invoices, the ability to sort at month end so I can quickly focus on those invoices that need to be done immediately or the ability to filter to a certain vendor or property as well. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is there are a couple of tweaks I would like to see...consistency with indexers and more user friendly experience with AvidPay being linked to Avid invoice.

AvidXchange does make quite an impact on the account payable process. They have taken over hours of work for me and I no longer have to process paperwork. They need to work on their indexing guidelines a bit otherwise, they would be 5 stars!

I've been in the implementation stage with Avid for over a year. We've gone live with various phases of their platform while other aspects are still in development. We are awaiting the PO module to meet our necessities as a construction company. I love the invoice and inboxing aspects of their platform. We were able to outsource the receipt of all mundane invoicing. We had to pull the plug on AvidBill based upon the lack of information in regards to our payments.

I have used AVIDXCHANGE now for a year and I have seen how it can be an extremely useful tool. It saves time and in turn saves money. no more paper to file. can retrieve at the push of a button, can process invoices in half the time, can organize invoices at month end to save time and be more efficient.
There are a few tweaks I would like to see in their policies of indexing that would greatly help us keep with the policies we have that does slow us down a little. There are some queries or search information that I would like to see without having to click into everyone to find what I'm looking for and am hoping that these are issues others are having as well so that perhaps they will incorporate these items.

This is the worst place ever.I deal with numerous property management companies and a couple of them have started using avid.In the fifteen plus years that I have been dealing with both of these property management companies there was never a problem with getting paid.The occasional time that an invoice went over 30 days,one quick phone call would get immediate payment with an apology.Now with avid they routinely go 60 or 90 days.They constantly call you offering you quick payment if you give them your banking info but when you decline and say just send me a check they hold your money hostage.They are unethical and should be ashamed of themselves.They are already being paid for the services they provide to the management companies.DO YOUR JOB AND PAY PEOPLE.60 to 90 days to get paid for a job well done is ridiculous!!!!

They walk you up a fee ladder to process invoices, all the while controlling the timing of when you get paid! The first step is getting charged to process ACH to avoid delays in cutting a check (which they control). The second step is to get paid before your customer approves it (for an additional fee that is substantially more than the first fee). Runs on the same philosophy as a protection racket, but this is "how bad do you want your money, because we control when you get paid". If I were a business outsourcing my AP processing, I would not use these guys. Their services reflect on the company they are working for.

Representative made false representations by stating our company HAD TO sign up with their services if we wanted to get paid by our client. Then they charged more than specified and started arbitrarily taking money out of our business checking. I would NEVER recommend anyone sign up with them. BTW... they NEVER respond to emails.

UNPROFESSIONAL LOOSE UNACCOUNTABLE UNETHICAL AvidPay stole money from my bank account. I am a vendor for a HOA that started using AvidPay. AvidPay contacted me to set up EFT so I could receive single annual payments from the HOA. After that, all kinds of incorrect debit and credits were made to my account by AvidPay. I asked them to restore the balance due to my account by their mistatkes, but AvidPay has treated me like it is my fault and they don't have time to deal with it. It shouldn't take more than a day to fix this. It's been weeks. At this point, it's called STEALING

Lousy customer service, can't get a human to call you, live chat has one response "go to the help page and it will answer all your questions" (it doesn't). Emails get automatic replies and a case number, but no one ever responds. It's just a lousy company to deal with all around. There are much better out there.

My company has been using AvidXchange's AvidInvoice product since 2006. We use Yardi for our accounting and property management software. When we started using AvidInvoice we scanned and coded all our own invoices, but we are now using their AvidBill Network - where Avid scans and (default) codes the invoices before they reach our coders and approvers.

Our Avid implementation was extremely easy. The implementer was here for about a week and we were up and running by the time he left. The hardest part of the implementation was thinking through the approver roles that we needed and we created this information in a spreadsheet for each property BEFORE our implementer came onsite. To this day we still use that spreadsheet as our key for the workflows that our invoices follow. The management process is so much better with Avid and invoices are not lost or left sitting on someone's desk.

Our property managers and accountants love that they can look up an invoice for a vendor, see the invoice image, and tell if it's been paid all by themselves. Management appreciates knowing exactly where our invoices are at any given moment.

As my company's software administrator for AvidXchange I can't say there haven't been bumps in the road over the past 8 years, however; AvidXchange is the most responsive and concerned software vendor I've dealt with in my 28 years in the IT industry. I absolutely recommend AvidXchange software for handling your invoice processing. They have been a first class company since day one and I would be happy to talk with anyone about my experience with AvidXchange.

We have been live with Avid for a little over 2 years. We love it! Having worked with other AP automation software companies, I can attest to the fact that Avid is doing it right. The customer service is unmatched in the industry.

With any automation, there comes a little leg work getting to the point of going live, but Avid is wonderful in terms of communicating that early and often. The sales process and implementation process ran as smoothly as I could imagine.

It's important to call out that you'll get from Avid whatever you/your team puts into it. Plan thoughtfully, and the Avid team will walk you through the implementation, step by step. Once you go live, you'll see real results. We were able to re-dedicate an entire AP person to another role, from which we're benefiting immensely.

From beginning to end, the Avid team has been more than available, responsive, and helpful. Thank you, Avid, for helping us use our resources in more efficient ways!

We have been a client of AvidXchange for more than 10 years and are extremely pleased with ther AvidInvoice electronic invoice processing application. We have virtually eliminated all of our previous paper shuffling of invoices and all of our users praise the application more than the majority of our software applications we are currently using. Not only has it eliminated paper but also saved us a large amount of money in overnight fees, paper costs and soft costs involved in employees no longer taking time to find out "where is my invoice?". During the past 10 years they have continued to enhance the product in order to make it more user friendly. I would have absolutely no problem recommending their product as a perfect way to automate your payables process!

We have been a client since 2005. Their customer service is impeccable. They spend a great deal of time and resources getting to know their clients' needs and customize their products to those requests. I wish all software suppliers were as responsive and could learn from this company. The implementation of AvidInvoice and AvidPay has created a substantial savings in labor, storage needs and supplies for our company. It truly complements our accounting team's success.

The software did not work as I had anticipated. I was expecting there to be more automation but much of the information needed to be entered manually. The software was full of bugs, and in general was cumbersome to use. Would not recommend to other business.

What did I just buy? After a long and gruelling sales process with a misleading sales rep, we finally made the jump with avid. To begin, we were promised a 30 day implementation time frame, 60 days later the software was finally set up appropriately. Thankfully the billing didn't begin until after we were live, however, right after, everything turned to complete hell. With major bugs and lots of support tickets things finally started to subside and we were able to fully use the software, three months later. This is when we really found out the lies that were sold to us. With this software we were under the expectation that avid would handle all of our scanning of invoices, even while negotiating the contract we were promised this. False! They will only handle a small percentage. We were also under the impression that avid would automatically push date between our accounting software, mri. False! You will have to run a report manually, manually export the files, manually important the files into mri, where's the automatic integration? Workflows was a huge deciding factor, previous to avid, we've been burned by invoices being approved by the incorrect individuals. Once again with avid, we were under the assumption, invoices would have to take a predetermined workflow through the entire system. False, the individual coding the invoice must choose the workflow. At the end of the day, I’m unsure of what avid actually does for me? I'm still scanning hundreds of invoices, I’m still manually putting data into mri, and I’m still manually routing invoices for approval. Be wary friends! Make sure you ask questions, and if you don't get a straight forward answer, ask again! Good luck.
