Review Summary
Generated using AI from real user reviews
Tungsten Network receives overwhelmingly negative feedback from users, with all 31 reviews rating it 1 star.
Users universally criticize the platform for being clunky, unintuitive, and a drain on time. A core complaint is that suppliers are forced to re-enter invoice data already created in their own systems, duplicating work. The system creates additional pain points: PO information doesn't sync reliably, required fields behave inconsistently, currency defaults don't persist, invoices cannot be edited or cancelled before client approval (forcing costly credit notes and resubmissions), and saved addresses don't auto-populate despite being stored. Many users report being charged per invoice while simultaneously required by large customers to use the platform—a model reviewers view as suppliers subsidizing clients' accounts payable functions.
Customer support is uniformly described as non-responsive and unhelpful. Users report emails ignored for days or weeks, generic copy-pasted responses, slow ticket resolution taking weeks, and limited availability (Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m.). Technical issues compound the frustration: login failures, payment processing errors, and portal downtime are inadequately addressed. Payment delays—sometimes 6–12 months—and unclear remittance advice add financial strain.
Across reviews, a recurring theme is entrapment: users feel forced into the system by large clients and consider switching vendors or imposing surcharges. The consistent message is to avoid Tungsten entirely if possible and seek alternative payment arrangements.

“We are unable to create new invoice due to unavailable…”
We are unable to create new invoice due to unavailable transactions and need to purchase the transactions. However, there is an error message appear and we are unable to proceed for payment. The Tungsten support and development team kept saying there is nothing wrong with their system. according to them maybe our IT has block something that does not allow their payment site to go through. However we did try using our personal computer, mobile phones with our own internet lines also same error message keep appearing. Until now, this has not been settled. our invoice has been delayed for a month.

“No longer can we batch email invoices and have them…”
No longer can we batch email invoices and have them paid on time. Noooo, now I get to generate our invoice, then log into the "portal", and re-enter everything in their invoice template. We have one customer for which we use this pile of crap, and were they not one of our bigger accounts, we'd dump them as a customer rather than use Tungsten. Entering an invoice takes longer, POs that I received a month ago aren't entered into the system when the job is complete and I go to invoice, so I have to manually type everything in. Some POs just never show up for me to accept, some show up right away, some show up eventually; it's like PO Roulette. The interface is kludgy, and even though I have *one* customer that forces me to use this, I still have to enter the shipping address *every time* because it's different from billing. I saved it in the address book, but every time, it doesn't fill in the state and complains that it's a required field. Best of all, we get the privilege of paying to send invoices. I'd always thought invoicing was where customers pay us for work we've done, but no; it's where we pay some random middleman company, and eventually, our customers pay us. Stay far, far away from Tungsten; it is the WORST.

“We also were forced into using Tungsten by our customer.…”
We also were forced into using Tungsten by our customer. What an incredible waste of time, I dread every time I have to generate an invoice through Tungsten. I could spend hours outlining how clumsy, buggy and un-intuitive their software is but they have wasted enough of my time already. It is so bad and wastes so much time I am seriously thinking of telling our customer to find another supplier. Tungsten is without a doubt the worst company and worst product I have ever dealt with.

“If I could give it less than 1 star I…”
If I could give it less than 1 star I would. This is the most terrible system I have ever used. Epic fail, wastes so much time and money.

“Terrible. One of our customers forces us to use Tungsten…”
Terrible. One of our customers forces us to use Tungsten Networks, and unfortunately, they're a big enough customer that we can't just tell them to find another vendor. As for Tungsten itself, the interface is clunky and unintuitive. We use Tungsten for ONE customer, shipping to ONE location, and that's it, but I have to enter the customer name and the shipping address because it's different from billing...every time. I have to create the invoice in our system, then go and re-enter everything in the Tungsten "system" (those are sarcasm quotes). Speaking of their system, it's actually down at the moment, which is why I'm doing this and not tediously entering invoices after I've already created them once. All that, and we get the privilege of paying for it! Not that it matters to me; I instituted an invoicing surcharge, so they pay for their own stupid decision to switch to crappy Tungsten Networks.

“We were required to use Tungsten by a large customer…”
We were required to use Tungsten by a large customer to bill them. WARNING. Stay as far away as possible. Beg your clients to pay you a different way. Easily the Worst system ever conceived. Takes 30 days to get an invoice entered into Tungsten as it goes back and forth to Purchaser to be approved multiple times. Once you finally get it into Tungsten, it only has to be approved 1 more time though. Then the payment terms are net 90. At least they are paying the taxes now. If I had to describe in 1 word, that word would be PAINFULL

“Worst user experience ever. We were required to use Tungston…”
Worst user experience ever. We were required to use Tungston by a large Corp to bill them. The set up is NOT USER FRIENDLY. The billing process is tedious and NOT USER FRIENDLY. Interactions with customer support are unclear, uninformative and tedious and NOT USER FRIENDLY. Not a good solution.

“Once system is set up, invoice payment is prompt. However,…”
Once system is set up, invoice payment is prompt. However, system is not "frictionless", as the set up process, and customer service are atrocious. So many problems logging in, with conflicting notices as to requirements for passwords, prompting for password change then being locked out of account for 2, then 20, then 11 minutes....and on and on. Phone support only avail Mon-Fri, 8-4, if you're lucky.

“I am super frustrated about this portal! I think this…”
I am super frustrated about this portal! I think this has been installed only to NOT have to pay vendors in time as invoices you submit here usually get rejected. I consider it insolent to be forced to use software a company chose for their management but is not intuitive, doesn't send information about rejected invoices and would not allow to make changes to invoices rejected. The time to watch tutorials for software you are forced to use should be billable. Tungsten is just one of many and its getting worse by the day. Oh, and i don't even want to give 1 star, but again, i am forced to click one. Set up negative starts, please!
